sderr, why do you hate Sion so much? I have noticed this with many of your posts here in the PYC thread. I'm not trying to be confrontational, I'm simply wondering why you have such a problem with him.

I think he judges people and punishes them for things he's done himself. When he does something wrong he expects compassion, but he doesn't extend it to those closest to him although he pretends to. For instance he spent a long time punishing Brit for her behavior with Gwyneth even to the extent of flirting and kissing her and preaching at Britt about forgiveness. He believes in punishing people for their moral failings, but can't admit his.

In this current incidence he stole the money from the chapel, against the wishes of his wife. He didn't pay the money back when Britt asked, he borrowed from Garry when she said not to. Of course Garry bullying him to keep the gun is wrong. But the reason Garry got away with it is that Sion didn't want to tell Britt he was being blackmailed. He wanted to save face rather admit that Britt was right and he was wrong.

Part of what's going with Garry I think is that he's trying to punish Sion for wrongs he did to Britt. He's trying to protect Monk honor and Sion has made him Garry feel morally inferior in the past. Its all the constant small slights and acts of unforgiveness to his family over the last few years coming back to haunt Sion. Garry is a stupid weak bully who's due for comeuppance (I think one is coming by the way), but I get why he's behaving this way.

I loved Sion when he was so supportive of Macs when he told him he had been raped. That was the first time I saw him do anything as I had only started watching a few months before that. Now though....Sion is so annoying as he thinks he always knows best.

I`ve never understood why Sion didn`t sell the house he, Britt and the kids were living in, and then all move upstairs in Y Deri. I`m sure there`s enough room for them all. All Sions money problems would have all been solved then. Or even persuade Brit to sell the chippy. Then he wouldn`t need to steal from Bethania, or borrow money from Garry,

sderr...add me as another who hopes Yvonne is coming back. I had those same thoughts myself when Colin went to see his Dad in Cardiff. and mentioned Yvonne a few times. And we saw a photo of Yvonne in happier times with Gwyneth.

I can't remember about the mortgage. I do know that financially Britt and Garry were fine before they bought the pub. If the White's couldn't afford to buy the Deri Sion should not have bought it. Family should come first not property.

I don't know if anyone will be homeless. I would like to see a new set built since there are new characters. Moc had set for his house didn't he? After he left that set went away. Time to bring it back I think.

Yes William is a police officer, but he's corrupt. He said he was working with Craig to advance his career.

I think there is more to this but they didn't tell us anything else. Parts of this story are confusing I am not sure what's really going on with William and Craig.

Well I'd always suspected if Sion had just told Megan the truth she'd forgive him. Megan seems to like to do that, she forgave Gemma and Gwyneth after all.

Also maybe its time to send Chester away to boarding school. He has no healthy role models in his family.

Ok question for everyone on Ed as a character. Is it time for that character to go. Its been more than 4 years since that character was introduced and he has never had major storyline (small exception of the short steroid storyline from a couple years ago). The current storyline with Vicky according to spoilers .

I find that Ed is not really good or bad and doesn't add any comedy. Should a character like that be a soap regular?

It's not the actor fault, it's the fault of the writers. He came in with Angela and Gemma who both have had major storylines but nothing for Ed. So give the poor man a decent storyline or let him go.

We do need a good story for ed that doesn't include gemma
