If she survived though, they could go down the cheesy route and have her forget because of her head injuries, only to have flashbacks and remember bits further down the line - by which time some other factor may bring the Ed/Sioned story to an end anyway lol. Or Ed could be the one who pulls her out of the car shortly before rubble crushes the car/the car explodes etc. so she feels obliged not to say anything now because she's grateful to him.

I do see your logic in Courtney knowing so much that killing her off would extend the Ed/Sioned story yet further but seriously - does it really need extending? It's already been going for absolutely ages and I don't see how much more they can do with it. I think killing Courtney off would be a really big mistake. She's a legacy character - Jim's only child/daughter (that I'm aware of), and her unborn baby would be a legacy character, as well as connecting the Joneses with the Proberts. It would also effectively mean Angela could never return, which would also be a mistake. I really hope they don't go there!

One thing if it is Courtney who's died what are they going to do about Angela? She doesn't know show up in the spoilers. I don't if Tara Bethen wanted to leave or not but Angela not being around is a big continuity problem. At least it is for me. She's supposed to be in Swansea where everyone in Cwm Deri goes for a night out. What Angela did is certainly not an evil beyond human comprehension that would prevent her from being at her daughter's funeral.

Courtney has been shown lately to be writing in what looks like a journal or diary, so it's not unreasonable to think that she had confessed to Dear Diary to being pregnant as well as Sioned threatening her and what Ed told her about killing Dewi. Perhaps that's a far stretch but if she died this would be one way to implicate Ed, and as an accessory, Sioned.

I agree. If they can't bring Tara Bethen back for that should they go down that road? Open question.

Angela was texting and phoning Courtney and said she was in Swansea but did she give her address. If no-one knows where she is they may not be able to find her.

On 20 April, Courtney found an envelope addressed to her, containing a set of keys and a note from Angela, “Courtney, I love you. Call me any time,” with an address in Swansea.

Apparently the address, 17 Catherine Street, is actually a terraced house, which I found on Streetview.

Oh right I don't remember that was it only Courtney who saw it or did anyone else?, I just thought that if Tara Bethan couldn't come back for any reason they could use the excuse that they didn't know where Angela was.

It made it even more tragic that we didn't see Courtney - we just had to imagine what she looked like with her injuries. Very powerful.

Personally very sad to see such an important, legacy character killed off. Let's see how it pans out but initially I'm not on board at all. Courtney was such a nice character and I would rather it had been Tyler, who is a bland character and a very poor actor.

I was pleasantly surprised that Angela was mentioned tonight. I hope she does come back. I checked Tara Bethan's facebook it seems like she's on a holiday in India and Nepal so it might not be a long return.

Its very sad that Courtney died on the other hand Katie Duffin who played Courtney started Uni this year. It might be she didn't really want continue as a regular. I think sometimes they should use an actor exit to create storylines instead of having the character disappear to Swansea or Cardiff or North Wales and never be heard from again.

I`m now caught up with Rownd a Round - it`s getting really good. I hope that the new character Erin gets found out about stalking Iolo. She seems to be a very nasty piece of work. Her twin brother Wil seems nice though - as does their brother Rhys and Dad John.
I hope Lilo susses her out. I`m sure tat Erin will make sure Lilo founds out about her and Iolo. - the little minx.

What we are watching now was filmed in September, before Tara went on holiday.

Heartbreaking Pobol last night - honestly moved to tears.

It's important that R&R is showing that it's, sometimes, the younger person (Erin) who pursues an older person (Iolo).

Also, the Rhys/David situation's nothing - that'll become something. Whether it'll be interesting, I don't know. Maybe the writers didn't know what to give David hence Rhys.

Absolutely! Although...wasn't there something said between Erin and her twin about Erin kissing Iolo over the summer and thats why she is pursuing him? I assumed that Iolo was drunk and doesn't remember? Or am I making that up? ...not that that is any call for her to stalk him all over the place of course! Her threat to Matt made her look very unstable. I wonder if those photos exist though... if so will not look good at all

I hadn't seen any of Davids story until summer this year when R&R restarted- thought I would give it a go as really love Pobol.

Wil's nice and good of Rhys to start bonding with him, at the garage, with the drone, etc. I like Rhys, he's tinkerer of machines, down-to-earth, doesn't hide his sexuality but doesn't "flame" about it. Maybe John will date the woman (who went to Spain with Alwena) whose name I've forgotten, blast! LOL

Great episode superb acting all round.
But killing Courtney is slightly weird, genuinely thought it was someone else, why Courtney ? No logical reason, while some other characters could easily be plausible, Ed, Sioned, Jason, Sheryl, Tyler !!!!!!!
