I thought that Ffion and Val weren't in touch because Val knows Ffion and Jinx are cousins and can't approve of them. Also Ffion's father is alive not dead and Val doesn't want her to know.
A lot there to follow up on, but not as bad as this years Christmas episode. I can't understand the subsequent episodes at all and Sion and Iolo's reaction. I didn't understand the attitude in June either. I have no idea what the writers are playing at. Do they honestly think that audience will forget that Macs (who was raped and the rapist is not in jail) had a breakdown and Iolo knows this?
