Why they even did that Christmas special I don't understand. I understand that Rhys Bidder wants to move on. Its the writers fault. But if they want to have the audience feel like it is justified for the whole village to turn against a character, then they have to write it that way. You can't just suggest Scott was involved in most Macs actions and then have absolutely everyone reject that as a concept. Its so fake and it makes the audience angry.

Of course it does. Making the audience angry is one of the few things PYC is good at. That's such a shame about Rhys Bidder - he's a really good actor with a likeable demeanour.

i have to say i did love the story of Eileen, Sioned, Jim and Angela but I'm getting really tired of it also tired of Garry and Dani

I`ve been wracking my brain trying to think who Eileen reminds me of for weeks. Then it just occured to me who is was..... Droopy.
I can`t remember the last time I saw Droopy....er..... Eileen crack a smile.

To this day I`m still angry at how Macs exit was written. To have a lynch mob after Macs when none of them are perfect themselves infuriated me. And even sanctimonious Sion did nothing to stop them. Rhys Bidder deserved a much better exit

I've been thinking lately if the writers had any courage they would bring Scott back as a character. If Macs can't come back maybe Scott should. I think the natural consequence of treating Macs as they have is that Scott would come to the conclusion that his behavior was almost justified and he would feel he can do whatever he wants. I would like to see the villagers squirm a bit. There is no excuse for a whole community to hold the attitudes they do about rape.

One character who was a rapist, before Scott and Kevin was Steffan and he was killed by his mother, so maybe they could bring Nansi back to sort out Kevin.

Ah the good old days when the writers had courage.
Nansi could come back.. I somehow don't think she would kill Kevin.

I always thought someone would kill Moc. I was betting Garry or Dani would do it after Moc attacking Gethin. In the end Moc just got away.

Maybe PYC should have a 'whodunnit' storyline of who killed Moc. So many people would be under suspicion.

What a good idea! As long as it can't be Gethin, that would be too obvious. Anything to shake things up.

Sion should kill Scot during a fight or something. An unintentional death but death just the same. Brit can do her usual 'get out of jail card' thing by having Gary set up Kevin for the murder. That way two vile rapists get their comeuppance. Poor Macs. To be drug raped must have been horrific. No wonder he fell apart. The writers should have had him go to the police with that taped confession from Scot.

I think Sheryl should be the killer. She's a believable figure and I also think the character has had its day.

Then Sion would actually have to care about Macs. I think Sion does not care about him at all. All he cares about is that Macs embarrassed him in front of the chapel membership. In fact Sion has given up on all his adult sons and wants a fresh start with Britt's three. Iolo he tolerates a bit, because he agrees to be Sion's babysitting/taxi service. If Scott came back he would forgive him and invite him to join the chapel.

Just watched the omnibus and it was. at best, dull. Britt, Debbie and Eileen all need a good beating. Really loathe all of them.
