Could they not just have given Iolo a normal boyfriend and brought back Scott if they want Scott? They had Macs chased out by an angry mob so the obstacle is gone. I should have known when they a picture of Iolo and Scott on facebook as a favorite couple.

I think it would be hard to bring back Scott at this point. Would Iolo be with the man he knows raped his brother? Well, it would be a controversial storyline, that's true.

But this is already a retread of what happened with Scott.

Oh I see what you mean I think the strip storyline is really a redo of calendar girls and the full monty and everyone will be over 40. Because that's uncreative and dull. DJ and Iolo probably won't be invited. Good idea though.

I was thinking more that bringing back Scott could bring back some of the more interesting backstories of the characters. As opposed to the Whites walking around like they have walked right off the set of the Twilight zone. I was thinking maybe Scott and a love interest for Iolo that was a bit more interesting than DJ. But that is a dream I guess. So now we will have Iolo falling for a man who is a clone of the one who raped his brother.

The picture of Gaynor talking about the strip show has Ed, Iolo, Gethin, Colin, Eifion and Hywel in the scene. So I guess that's who she has in mind.

The writers seems to have forgotten the storyline last year where Gaynor was abusive to Hywel. Now the writers have changed Gaynors personality again.....a new job and a new personality too.

Yeah, Gaynor was very abusive to Hwyel and Macs. They did nothing with that. Dropped it like a rock. That might have been interesting. But no... happy and shiny Gaynor.

Everyone has had a personality transplant to make them more what inoffensive and bland. Garry is a suburban dad, and after the Christmas episode Eifion is a hero for taking care of the babies. Forget about stalking women and selling guns etc.

Yeah I guess DJ is somewhere else that day, with Anita. But Iolo wants to be back on the ruby team he asked a couple of weeks ago. Its coached by Dai, so I assume DJ will be there too. Can you see a redo of Scott and Iolo on the rugby pitch because I can.

They put Gemma & Mark together because people liked Dani and Brandon's May/December romance and they are so uncreative that they just are recycling storylines from a few years ago.

IIRC, Brandon and Dani has a long, messy road to finally getting together. The relationship had plenty of time to develop and play out. I bought them together. They're not even bothering with Mark and Gemma.

I didn't say they were doing it well Anthony! Just noting the trend of recycled storylines and borrowing. I agree that all this stuff is bad: Sioned/Eileen, Scott 2.0, Gemma/Mark the plot from the Full Monty. Someone at BBC Wales is having a laugh at the viewers expense.

I think DJ hitting Eileen with a car and putting her in a coma on the day he arrived and then chatting with Iolo about it on valentines day deserves an honorable mention in the pathetic category. Didn't Iolo's hit and run occur on valentine's day last year?
