I hope Garry is too, seems to me that Dani's concerns about having a baby revolve around a belief that her child is genetically doomed because of who her parents are. I think she would regret not have a child if that is her real concern. You can't let the past dictate the future.

As a lawyer its not Elin's job to collect evidence that would disprove her client only to represent what Kevin says is true to the best of her ability. I would say Elin is a very good lawyer if she can spin the Meic and Debbie rubbish into a winning argument.

The actress who plays Courtney is either not available or they don't want to have to pay her to appear at the moment. Either way they'll never explain.

No a lawyer does not have to have independent evidence in order to impeach the credibility of a witness. She isn't trying to prove that Meic and Debbie had an affair, she is only trying attack the credibility of their testimony as witness. So its not hearsay, trust me I've had clients in court. You are hired as an advocate you don't independently look for evidence to disprove what your client says you only look for evidence that tends that supports your client. There is an argument that could be made along the lines of what Kevin has said by observing Meic and Debbie. Meic moved in with Debbie at one point and Debbie declared her love for him. Its the prosecution's job to disprove it. Whether or not you believe it or it is particularly credible is immaterial.

exactly she has to find evidence to support what she's saying she'd get laughed out of court over here, as it's one word against another it would never stand up- if she took photos or said about them living together etc it might but she has nothing. Aren't you based in America perhaps it's different.

I did some of my legal education in the UK, its not that different. She is only trying to defend her client not prove what he says is true. She isn't in this case trying to get the prosecution dismiss the case or prove what Kevin says is the truth. Only question the credibility of Meic and Debbie.

Think of it this way most people who are charged are guilty- otherwise they wouldn't be charged. Your job is to present their defense- most of the time that defense is very weak because they are guilty. You lose- which is what is supposed to happen. However if someone pleads innocent you represent them including their lame arguments that's the job. Its not a reflection on the lawyer if you lose you when were supposed to. It's not a personal thing, it never bothered me to lose a weak case.

I don't get this thing with Iolo and Rhys? Iolo continues to suggest this situation with Rhys not telling his dad about the essays is something like coming out as gay. I don't see the connection? Unless Rhys is gay. Not sure what that has to do with some essays on nutrition Rhys doesn't want to write or dropping out of university? Its not like coming out suddenly would make dropping out of university a good idea.

Sorry to say this but I really can't stand Chester! His blank face and monotone voice just give me the creeps. He looks about 13 but still talks like an 8-year-old. Uch, please recast PYC and stop my skin creeping!

So far, the Dani/Garry pregancy plot has been excellent. Their reactions have been very in keeping with their characters, and bringing Gethin's son into it was also a nice touch, as was the seeming thawing of relations between Gethin and Garry.

Rhys is just so unlikeable I couldn't give a toss whether he gay, straight or peach melba.

Oh I agree about Chester, but I guess its a money thing. I wonder what those child actors who play Britt's children get paid? They almost never have dialog.

Garry and Gethin should be friends they have a lot in common. I am glad the stealing storyline is over. Simon Watts and Richard Lynch are good actors it nice to see them with something real to do.

On Rhys, I think he is supposed to be unlikeable. Which is what makes this storyline so odd. Rhys seems lazy and entitled. His situation is nothing like coming out. Iolo looks like a nagging old house wife in this stupid plot. I am sure they will send Rhys back to university to get rid of him.
