Thanks for those sderr

Spoiler
Yeah not sure this storyline was worth it. The last few weeks have been interesting, but the majority of it was only so so. Had much less impact than other big storylines.

I'm a bit baffled by the Chester plot in PYC - surely it's the Easter holidays?!

You're right on that. It would be. Chester plot seems much to do about nothing.

I thought that tonight too....especially as Rhys is supposed to be on an Easter break too. And where are Catrin and Aaron? At school?

There was a time when Kevin used to be one of my favourite characters. Now I can`t bear to even look at him. Credit where credit is due to Iwan Roberts for playing a sinister character and making it so believable.

I think that the writers would have been better off keeping him a nice character and writing a different type of storyline for that character. I guess this 3rd sexual assault storyline in as many years leaves me a bit cold. Now that its ending the writers will have to find another topic for a dramatic storyline (I hope).

Same here Sarah.
Does anyone think that Iolo has feelings for Rhys? Their friendship seems to have come out of nowhere. Apart from Iolo walking in on Rhys and his college friends conversation about him leaving college - there were no scenes of them together before this.

Yes although it seems to all be in Iolo's head. We'll see- he's being such a horrible nag. Its no way to win a boyfriend.

Rhys would make a terrible boyfriend anyway - all he cares about is himself. Rugby a close second.

On 4 April, Dani received a postcard from Gemma, who was in Nice, about to travel by train to Milan, but yesterday Mark in the Deri reported that she was in Amsterdam.
She seems to be travelling around Europe by a very strange route.

Perhaps she's on her way back!

Its scheduled, in last night's episode Dani said the appointment wasn't for a fortnight. That's a long time to wait for a termination appointment. Something tells me she could still change her mind.

OK what does everyone think of the whole Iolo and Rhys thing? Are we supposed to feel sorry for Iolo? I really don't understand what that storyline is about. Iolo was all bent out of shape with Rhys not working for him but he was Iolo's apprentice for a day and a half. I can't believe there is no plan in place to finish the job without Rhys. Also I can see Rhys point Iolo went way over the top interfering in his life.

I don't know if Rhys is supposed to by gay or not, but both Iolo and Rhys are acting like brats. They have no chemistry at all, I don't like their relationship together. I do not like the smug self-righteous way they are writing Iolo. Someone acting all smug and judgmental of others really shouldn't be able to win over a love interest.

Honestly the way it's written the show is going to have Rhys struggling (or that he's already struggling) with his sexuality and he and Iolo will get together. I've seen so many of these coming out dramas and this is how it usually begins. And the guys sure do fight like potential lovers. IMO, they both seem like they are in denial. Iolo denying he attracted to Rhys and Rhys denying his own feelings. But I still don't see the show going there. And yet, if they're not, what's the point of all this? If it's not a romantic coupling, then where is it going?

Well here are the spoilers for the 1st and the 2nd of May
Spoiler

Dropping out of university still seems to be a large part of the storyline.

I don't know Anthony the interfering judgmental thing from Iolo is really a problem for me. I don't care if Rhys is coming out or not, I am not sure I can get behind the idea Rhys would drop out of university to be with Iolo. I don't think this behavior with Iolo is going to change. Especially with a much younger boyfriend. He acts at times almost like Rhys' father.

This change in the character's behavior pre-dates this thing with Rhys by a year or so. Iolo has always been a bit that way, but ever since Iolo's big announcement at Jinx and Ffion's wedding the judgmental thing is out of control. He's becoming more and more like Sion. I really thought this would have ended by now that surely someone would have pointed out the error in Sion's ways and Iolo would have seen through his father's behavior and changed. But no it continues. I am not sure I want to watch Iolo be all self-righteous and judgmental with Rhys like Sion is with his family.

They never did too much with that though, it was more about Lois and Huw.

I don't know so far I am not seeing anything that would make it a good idea for Rhys to drop out of university to be with Iolo. He left because he didn't want to do the work, not because he was being bullied over his sexuality. This is kind of a stupid notion that you would leave university because you are gay. Actually if he is gay and does come out he should go back. A university would be a better place with more young people going through the same thing for Rhys to be.

Something tells me that Anita enjoyed that kiss with DJ. I reckon she'll be back for more. I've heard that he's hung like an elephant as well. All fine by me as long as he keeps his hands off My Gaynor. The sexiest woman in soap.
