Yeah I think you are right, I had some hope that Ffion and Jinx's family might revive things, but it didn't happen. I think it is time for them to have another baby, buy their big house get a dog and move out of Cwm Deri to be happy ever after.

I think those characters have been written into a corner. Too much of any interesting conflict with them is dependent on a character that left. It also become apparent they aren't going to hire actors to play family that abandoned them as children. That could have been interesting but looks like the money isn't there for that.

This is true which was the point of my earlier comment about need to replace cast members. But DJ is especially bad because the just hired him and he should have come in to shake things up a bit.

I recall an interview with the actor where he said he was here to stir things up. But he's hardly done that, IMO.

I thought Sion was just about tolerable in last weeks episodes. I`m glad he apologised to Chester. Although that doesn`t make up for his bad parenting skills to his 3 biological sons in the past..
