Gemma behavior is so psycho. Its taken way too long for Dani to catch on.
I know Mo will be upset.. but there is way too much of this storyline with Gaynor and her work life balance issues. After years of watching her willing to sacrifice everything for her job, I don't buy this as some big issue for her. I wish they had more Iolo this week instead... Monday's episode was very good. |

Did we see Iolo today?
I too think that Gaynor's sudden obsession with not working is hard to believe. She's always been driven in her career. Did something happen to bring about this change or did the show just create it out of whole cloth? |

Did something happen to bring about this change or did the show just create it out of whole cloth? The Gaynor thing they created out of whole cloth. Supposedly the fact that Hwyel could have died donating part of his liver to Arwen made her re-evaluate her priorities. Actually I didn't believe that Gaynor would have begged Hwyel to risk his life for Ffion and Arwen given the previous two years storylines. So over all an unbelievable storyline which is on way too much. |

I remember when Gaynor was practically living at the hospital when Hywel was recovering. Then when Hywel was injured during a fight outside Y Deri, it was then that Gaynor became physically exhausted, and had panic attacks. Plus the pressure of an evaluation by the school governors that really tipped Gaynor over the edge. I think it was that point where she wondered if it was worth it.
I thought it was quite selfish of Gaynor to put all that pressure on Ffion when she had a young baby to look after. She could have nominated someone else for her job i`m sure. ffion could have said no, but I`m sure it was the money more than anything else that made her decison to become the Headmistress. I think Macs would have made a great Head teacher if he had been able to stay in Cwm Deri. |

Yeah, I remember the thing with Hwyel the problem for me was always why Gaynor wanted Hwyel so badly to be an organ donor. I know its the right thing to do, but Gaynor was always in the past an abusive person. She was always very angry over that affair with Ffion and the situation with Arwen. I thought for sure when Hwyel was the only person in the village to be a donor match she would have been unhappy.
This love of cooking seems to have come out of nowhere. Ever since Gaynor left the school, she`s been all over the place in what she wants. First she wanted the dream job which she got. Now all of a sudden she`s taking days off to practice her cooking skills, and telling Jinx at Cwm FM she wants to open a restaurant. No wonder Hywel is annoyed. |

Wow, Gemma's creating an elaborated fantasy world occupied only by herself. Sion what can I say, when he said he couldn't stand people who wouldn't forgive I felt a bit nauseous. I wonder is he falling in love with Gwyneth?
I almost cheered Colin saying that all chapel people are hypocrites. Unbelievable no one has said that to Sion sooner. Best part of the night Britt throwing the drink in Gwyneth's place. |

And I laughed again when Megan said "this sort of thing wouldn`t have happened if her and Reg still owned Y Deri." Yes it would`ve Megan, and most of the drink would`ve been aimed at your sanctimonious miserable gob!!! |

I wonder if Britt will take a leaf out of Garrys book and deep fry Gemmas hand in her chip shop? Britt will go postal on Gemma when she finds out what she did.

I wonder what is going to happen when Sion realizes the truth about the state of his family. Will he be able to cope... all I can say poor Iolo in all this. Sion is not the same man who was comforting Macs 3 years ago.
Good for you Britt in publicly shaming St-Sion-who-helps-everyone-except-his-own-family-of-Bethania-parish No wonder Huw scarpered, and Macs wants nothing to do with him. Move away with William Iolo. I`d miss you both, but you`ll be much happier. |

I would`ve thrown that dinner over Saint Sion in Y Deri if I had been Britt.....if anyone deserves a public shaming it`s him.

I do think he loves his sons, losing all of them will be a shock to the system. Sion could be removed from his position at Bethania, by the membership. He deserves that. |

Sorry sderr, I don`t know. I can remember it being mentioned a few years ago.
Although in my defense - I seem to mentally block out any scene that St Sion is in

I was just wondering how easily the membership can rid themselves of St. Sion as chapel leader.

I will say although Gemma's storyline is not making too much sense, it is more interesting than Gaynor's. Gemma's is at least a fun over the top soap storyline, while Gaynor's storyline is not about much at all. That much I will concede Mo.
