i really don't like ed

I`m sure Emily Tucker sighed in frustration and disappointment when she found out Sioned was being teamed up with Ed.
And I can`t say I blame her if she was annoyed because going from a superb character and actor in Macs, and then going to someone as boring as Ed would be enough to disappoint anyone.
Sioned and Macs had amazing chemistry - Sioned and Ed have none whatsoever.

Totally, true. I wish they would pay more attention to the age of the characters and chemistry when setting up couples. I also hope there is no Ed/Andrew/Sioned love triangle either. No offense but Emily Tucker is too young and dynamic for either of them. It doesn't look believable they would be interacting with each other.

When I think back to the summer of 2011 when they were doing the rape storyline and Macs, Sioned and Iolo had all those scenes together, part of the reason that storyline worked so well is that the actors playing the roles were the right age to be in that situation. Casting the right people makes all the difference in the world- a thing the producers seem to have ignored lately.

Shoud I watch Ed mope about and frown over money tonight or just skip it? What do you think wavlovr?

Yeh it sounded like he's taking it very seriously - that must mean that it's going to be a long-running storyline.

Ed could have been so interesting....they've finally made Gemma interesting - I hope something happens with Ed too.

No Iolo hasn't been on. It's all Ed this week and his money issues. Dreadfully dull.. you are missing nothing by not watching.

Could it be Andrew who is conning Sioned out of her and Eds money, and not this so called friend of Andrews?
In todays episode Andrew seemed quite keen to go see that friend of his about Gras. He was adamant that he didn`t want Sioned there in case it turned violent!
Looks like 'Ed case' is suspicious of Sioned and Andrew. Or it could be that he`s just constipated. All his facial expressions look the same to me.,

I think Ed is always constipated because all express do look the same.

I hope Andrew is stealing the money, I'd be slightly more interested in the storyline.

Pobol Y Cwm started October 16th 1974. I don`t think there were 5 episodes a week when it first started, maybe 2. So I`m guessing there are roughly about 6720 episodes so far.

I based those figures on 2 eps a week for 20 years, and 5 eps a week for another 20 years. Although in January 2015 those eps will drop down to 4 eps a week.

If Andrew has scenes with Gemma and Angela it'll be better. I think that the storyline is currently about Ed's money problems is ruining his return.

Ed has the same miserable slack expression in every episode...

Thoughts on the week: I thought it was a big let down. Last couple of weeks I thought had the beginning of some good storylines but none were followed through on.

I've only been watching again for a week but how on earth are Sion and Britt still together with the way they treat one another?

That's a good question. The current problem stems from the fact that Sion feels its his duty to forgive Gwyneth. Britt, Garry and Dani all know that Gwyneth hired the hitman to kill Dani. Remember how Garry got stabbed? Sion for some reason doesn't believe Gwyneth did it.

I don't understand why no one says anything to Sion about the way he treats his family? I would think with Iolo so sick and Sion ignoring it, he's about to be in real trouble. I just wonder when that will happen.

Yeh I remember Garry getting stabbed. Does Sion know that something is wrong with Iolo? How long has Iolo's storyline been going on?

Iolo's storyline has just started, so you haven't missed much. Anthony covered most of it in his column. Sion has no idea about Iolo he's too busy living in his own little world. Britt suspects something- but then Gwyneth got released and Sion has devoted all his attention to helping her. That's taken all of Britt's time.

I am thinking if Dani and Garry wedding is soon Iolo will have to be present for that. Gethin too and Gethin definitely knows something is wrong.

Btw Dyfan Rees has a new video of himself on twitter with a rather unkempt looking beard. I think the change in appearance might be part of the OCD storyline.

Yes Gethin knows that. Despite everything I think Gethin really does care about Iolo as a friend. That's good to see those two actors work well together.
