Nope, Gethin doesn't have a storyline at the moment. I think this one with Iolo must be his next, William Iolo's love interest is working with Gethin.

That's great, I really like him. Going by twitter, I think Aled is working on a new project, but didn't Simon (Gethin) also do some theatre work while still on the show? It seems as though it won't affect William's involvement in the storyline?

Well I kinda figured that William wasn't coming on as a new permanent cast member. Where they would get the money for that I'm not sure- they have been making cuts quite obviously. Its good though that they are addressing Iolo's love life even if they have only a reoccurring character.

Where have you noticed the cuts? I agree, it's good to see Iolo with a love interest - he's never had one since I've been watching.

They are getting rid of the omnibus in September. In 2015 they are cutting to 4 days a week with a 2 week break. They also have to find another million to cut from PYC. I think the new characters are only here for the 40th and then will go away because I don't see where there would be money to pay for them.

Sorry to hear that. To me Gwyneth coming back to possibly kidnap Gwern and the custody battle with Garry is the only really interesting thing that's happened this year. With the other storylines this year being so ordinary and mundane- I really don't see where too many characters have to much motivation to be nasty or cause conflict. I think Garry Dani Gwyneth was the really obvious choice.

With this hot weather, there should be more scenes of Gaynor in a bikini. She would need a shower afterwards.

What happened to Dianne with her hearing happened to my hubby too a few years ago. He was at the VA getting a checkup and the doctor checked his hearing because hubby was concerned. The doctor found a piece of cotton wool from a Q Tip embedded in his ear. So we don`t buy cheap QTips anymore.

That happened to me too. I think its happened to many people.

Looks like the writers are teaming up the resident psychos Gemma and Gwyneth as friends. Birds of a feather flock together.
After all they have so much in common - both tried to kill Danni at one time. Gemma in her sleep when she stabbed Dani, and Gwyneth when she hired that hit man and he stabbed Garry instead.
I cringed at Colins antics today. The writers are trying too hard and failing miserably.
Please redeem yourselves writers and get Angela and Andrew back together. It would tick off Gemma big time, and that`s not a bad thing. Besides, Eifion has gone all stalkerish on Angela lately. I`m sure Cadno would be more than happy to take Eifion back. As happy as a misery guts like Cadno can be that is.

Eifion has gone stalkerish lately. However, I don't want Eifion and Cadno back together. I am not sure why they would want to get back together. I know they've been together since time began and they own the farm and have children together, but I don't think they really love each other. They do nothing but fight and nag- its all I've ever seen them do. Is owning property together really enough to keep you with someone who doesn't love you? That would be a very disappointing storyline.

Ah right. Iolo isn't mentioned in the spoilers for a long time, but hopefully we'll see some small scenes that will keep the storyline ticking over.

Dyfan said in the BBC1 interview Iolo has a second HIV test and we haven't even gotten there yet. Must be a lot more of the storyline still to come. Hopefully he is in some of the scenes to prepare for the wedding.
