I'm probably being thick, but I fail to understand how cutting an omnibus is going to save any worthwhile amount of money, given that the episodes are already made and that, presumably, gluing them together is a relatively simple exercise.

No you are not being thick. It seems more like an effort to decrease viewers than anything else.
The response to cutting the omnibus on PYC Facebook page is overwhelmingly negative. They keep directing people to watch on iPlayer. Are they aware that the subtitles on iPlayer stink? No one would want to watch PYC on iPlayer. Can't wait to see all the complaints about that.

I don't know what next month is going to be like. I looked at the picture of the shooting script again. Looks like tons of scenes are being filmed at Maes Y Deri (Mark's house). Only one at Y Felin (Sion's house). I am much more interested in the White family mystery. There's more show history there and Iolo is just so much more likable than Ed and Gemma. We'll have to see what happens.

Omnibus gone. Total madness. I often miss the 6 slot & can't be bothered with i player or s4c player. Not happy !!!!!!!

For the better, I remember the thick glasses and the sideburns. So Iolo can't get a therapist appointment until November. It'll be a while until things improve. Next week and the anniversary episodes should be explosive then.

Who died and made Hywel boss of the rugby club anyway? It`s the same with Cwm FM. Griffiths hadn`t gone more than a day when he declared himself boss of Cwm FM. I used to like Hywel at one time. Now I can`t stand him.

I like Dai but he isn't a good chairman. The money he wasted on the South African, encouraging the players to take steroids last fall. I agree that they could have waited a day, but he deserved to be removed.
Hywel needs an actual storyline- he hasn't had one in quite a while. I wonder if the Ffion and Gaynor thing will turn into anything.
I'm surprised they haven't moved the Sunday slot to either Saturday or earlier on Sunday now that S4C have live Rugby in the old slot (which might be a rights thing) I know the rugby is the most watched programme on S4C but the Sunday repeat does far better than a lot of the repeat showings.

I've slagged off PYC lately but they are doing a great job on this OCD storyline. It's really realistic. Iolo and Sion's relationship is really interesting. So Sion goes against his principles and will pay for Iolo to go private. I don't think he'd do the same for his other 2 sons. Then Iolo manages to con Sion into not accepting an appointment. Sion so wants to see Iolo as his perfect son that he doesn't realize its just avoidance because of the OCD.
I am going to be really interested in seeing what happens when they add Huw to this mix next week.
