Stay strong, ladies!

Yes, it feels a little surreal that in around 3 hours, Michael will be no more.

Thanks for the interview info, Chloe_Ann - it's great to know we have an SJS novel (dictionaries at the ready, girls!) to look forward to, as well as something else in the New Year!

*prises craftycow's numb fingers off Michael's leg* CC, I wonder if Alice's motives for encouraging Michael to go ahead with killing Janine will become clearer tonight - other than wanting revenge for him setting her up for murder...

Hope you all enjoy the episode. Group therapy starts at 8.30pm!

Is there a couch and a box of tissues in the therapy room? scented candles?

I hope the BBC set up a special helpline after the episode

Just want to say thanks to Sez for starting the original MM Appreciation Thread and to everyone who has posted in this thread, or the previous 4, over the past 3 years. I've had a lot of fun chatting all things Michael with you all. I can honestly say, this must be one of the friendliest - as well as one of the most on-topic! - threads on all of DS.

Yes definitely...but no sports gear allowed - apparently it's too common!

That will definitely be needed, LOL!

Definitely thanks to Sez for her ability to spot a winner - it's been a great nearly 2 and a half years for me on here, and I've loved every minute of it with all my fellow MMooners! At least we can keep it going by checking in with SJS news - hopefully he'll still give us plenty to talk about!

craftycow is the resident SJS detective - he won't be able to escape from her beady eye in his future projects!

Hello girls! Long time no speak! What about our poor Michael, can't believe that he's gone!

I am not okay! Everyone else seems to be awfully quiet here, maybe they just need a moment haha, so let's break the silence. I'm not sure about anyone else but the bit where Michael ran upstairs to grab Scarlett, only to find that the door was locked was so heartbreaking. He started sobbing against the door and it was almost as if he accepted that it was over. Now we have to do the same. :'(

Group hug right back at you! I still wish he'd gone for the suicide option once he realised he was cornered. It would have been a nice twist and better than a rehash if the Dirty Den scenario.

Sad that he got to say goodbye to everyone except Scarlett.

Great episode, he will be missed.

My name is Jayma and I'm a Michaelholic...let the group therapy begin!

Wow! I can't believe it's all over. Brilliant performances from everyone I thought. It broke my heart when Michael went upstairs to get Scarlett
Does anyone think he pulled the knife towards himself or does everyone think Janine did it?
I had a little cry. I think it's the thought that we will have no knew Michael to look forward to that makes me sad
On the plus side, Michael Moon is trending worldwide
Also, I loved the carcass line lol

I had to come on here to have a look. Good exit? Did he cry at all?

Had a feeling his death might be like that, going to miss him sooo much, I would have prefered a suicide after he was crying for Scarlett think it would have been perfect as he knew his time was up.

I still can't believe he's gone, hated seeing him all worried and scared it just broke my heart especially when he cried for Scarlett. I don't agree with Janine, Michael loved Scarlett and it was out of desparation he resorted to killing Janine, he just wanted to be with his daughter and she made it impossible. Both of them should have thought about Scarlett and not used her in their games.

It saddens me, he was fooled by Alice, as we know MM got two stab wounds now, surely both of them need to be explained Alice will know she stabbed him once on his side or is she just going to confess and take the blame. Janine will probably mess with her head so she can take the blame, Alice is easily played.

SJS is bloody amazing, wish him luck with all his future projects. Charlie was great as well and so was Jasmyne.

I thought it was a great episode. SJS was brilliant (had a couple of classic funny lines too) and it was a very dramatic and emotional end. We had some tears too

I really wanted him to have a final moment with Scarlett. Atleast he got to see Tommy.

I wish it wasn't Janine that killed him. I did really like Janine/Michael relationship and well, thats been totally ruined. All of her "grief" will be fake now.

*enters therapy room takes tissue and lies down on couch* OK I'm a bit disappointed about the route they took. I agree suicide would have been more in keeping with the character. All that drama and plotting was about Janine! its how she behaves not Michael. The only real bit was when he tried to find Scarlett.
