A great interview with Jasmyn - it's interesting that she says Michael talks about his childhood with Alice....could we see tears before he leaves?

I hope we see Michael's vulnerable side again before he leaves. I love it how we are all desperate to see him cry lol

Jacks exit was pretty rushed in my opinion and not very exciting.I have just been watching hollyoaks so anything is boring compared to that at the moment.

Jack's exit was dreadful. An insult to the character and actor, IMO. At least Michael's can't be any worse than that - right?

I'm also a little gutted with Jack's exit. He's been one of my favourite characters and I think if it wasn't for Michael's big exit coming up, he would have got a bigger exit
Not alot of Michael tonight but I liked his sexy little look to Alice tonight in The Vic. I loved the way he was perving over Whitney too lol

Yeh it wasn't great for Jack, however, I'm very glad that we saw him pack, say that he was going to send for his things, and also give a good explanation of what he was thinking and why he was going. Yes it was rushed, but I'm glad things were at least explained.

Loved the David/Michael scene and the references to Derek and their last encounter.

The new Scarlett is very cute, but I hope we get the original one back before Michael leaves!

We should get spoilers for the aftermath of Michael's exit today

Spoilers are up in the main forum. Even though our beloved Michael will be no more, it still looks like a great week. I often think the aftermath of these things can be great drama. I thoroughly enjoyed the aftermath of Heather's murder.

And at least he's mentioned by name on the Monday, even though we won't see him...

Just read the spoilers The episodes do sound good but its just not gonna be the same without Michael around

Aww he talked about his mum again.Glad the writers didnt forget it. It is michaels achilles heel after all. Mention his mother and you get a reaction.

Michael had some great lines again tonight. I always enjoy his little scenes with Billy
It is definitely the subject of his Mother that really gets to him. Do you think he really does have those suicidal thoughts or is he just using that as a way to really pull on Alice's heart strings
I wonder if Janine and Alice will drug Michael and try and make it look like suicide??

I'm not sure. I'm thinking that maybe Michael plans for such and such to happen...and then when it goes wrong, he overdoses? It would be poetic in a way if he does die the same way as his mother. He's talked about it enough times and tonight's mention did seem a bit random.......unless he was just trying to play Alice and that would mean my theory wouldn't work.

I always love the Michael and Ronnie scenes - they really should have included her in this storyline. The timing of her return was crying out for it.

Talking of foreshadowing - notice how the duff-duff was Michael lying on a sofa with his eyes shut? Was that just mirroring what happened to his mum, or was it also a sign of things to come (and how they come to pass)?

It's all a bit confusing at the moment

Same here. Michael's Mum obviously had manipulation issues too (wonder where he gets it from!) as she intended Michael to find her before it was too late - she never intended suicide. It would have been a great parallel for Michael to go the same way. I like how he mentioned he is now the same age that she was when she died.

Looks like the preview is a staged argument between Alice and Michael to try and get Janine back onside with Alice and give Alice access to Scarlett again.

Really going to miss Michael.
