Didn't know that Ethel was a transgender in the 80's lol
Terrence Chant
22-07-2014
Even that was too revolutionary for EE back then lol
Matthew_Howarth
22-07-2014
EE can be revolutionary - but perhaps not that much - particularly in the 80's
Terrence Chant

Even Colin kissing Barry on the noggin caused a storm
Matthew_Howarth
24-07-2014
A gay kiss in the 1980's doubtless whipped up a storm - yeah true
Terrence Chant
24-07-2014
Pat tried to seduce Colin once
Matthew_Howarth
24-07-2014
Yes - can vaguely recall Colin, actually
Terrence Chant
25-07-2014
Barry his b/f wasn't Evans btw lol
Matthew_Howarth
26-07-2014
No - another Barry, as Barry Evans wasn't gay lol (not to my knowledge, anyway).

Didn't have much luck with the ladies
Matthew_Howarth
26-07-2014
Not a lot of luck with either sex, no lmao - let alone the ladies - never mind Barry haha
Terrence Chant

You know you're struggling when you settle for twisted Janine
Matthew_Howarth
27-07-2014
Janine was undoubtedly the love of Barry's life - unfortunately, for him
Terrence Chant
27-07-2014
She pushed him over the edge in more way than one
Matthew_Howarth
28-07-2014
Yep. Pushed over the edge - more than once & literally.

"If only he'd worn slip-on shoes".
Terrence Chant

Slipped off the roof did Bradders
Matthew_Howarth
28-07-2014
Straight off the roof of the Vic, yes - in the 2010 25th Anniversary Live Episode
Terrence Chant
28-07-2014
Very well acted on the whole I thought
Matthew_Howarth
29-07-2014
Was a great episode all-round, from what I remember

One of the best this decade
Matthew_Howarth
30-07-2014
Easily - it was very memorable and an EE showpiece event displaying EE at its very best.

Got to be the best so far of 2010 onwards. The live episode was easily up there and on a par with "Who Shot Phil?" and Dirty Den being bumped off for the 2nd time episodes (from 2000-2009).

^^^A very belated well done on your 512K posts, by the way^^^

Who shot Ian Beale.....another gripper
Matthew_Howarth
31-07-2014
Gripping stuff yes - that was another good and memorable SL by all accounts - Cindy responsible for it, I think from memory
Terrence Chant

Hired a hitman, John Valecue

Some kind of mad dash to the airport happening, and the ensuing car chase going on at the same time, I think - or that may have been some other Ian and Cindy shenanigans, possibly
