Completely disagree. I think he has mellowed this year. I would have liked him to have had a better partner so he could have stayed in longer as he has produced some great choreography in the past when he has had a decent partner. I hope he and Ola are back next year.

I think James has mellowed too, same with Brendan, they are my 2 favourite pros!

I think he's been worse in previous years. He seemed quite good with Vanessa this year, in terms of being supportive and encouraging (which some in my house thought was just false sincerity) but I think we prob have to give him the benifit of the doubt that he was being true in his well regard for her. He did his best for her choreography wise, considering how un-natural her dance ability was. I think, just a guess, that it was more her than him this year that lost votes. My house don't really like James but liked her even less.

When he first arrived yes, but over the past few series he's calmed down quite a lot. I'd love for him to stay.

I thought he behaved perfectly tonight. Hadn't noticed any problems previous weeks either and Vanessa seemed happy with him.

Am I misssing something?

He doesn't suffer fools gladly, as was demonstrated with his first charge, several years ago.

Talk about misjudging the crowd- and I also agree with the crowd, James is much better! Disappointed for him and Vanessa! Especially on his wedding Anniversary!

I find him such a bore so i'm happy he's out.

Poor James - he's still paying the price for calling Georgina Bouzova lazy in his first ever series.... And she herself admits she WAS lazy, and that despite the umbrage everyone took on her behalf, she and James got on very well, and she thought he was a great teacher!

All he's ever asked for is for his partner to give the training 100% - he's a perfectionist, and wants to win... So he has a lot of time for partners who do give it their all, and he's also got a sense of fair play...... He felt for Cherie went she went out because of Sargentgate....... She was a great dancer, who went far too early, and lost out to the awful and unpopular Lisa Snowdon in the dance off as well - her elimination offended his sense of fair play!

He's now one of my favourite pros.... And I'm sorry to see him go

Didn't I read that Vanessa couldn't be assed and only put in 10 hours last week. I mean she's hardly that busy, is she?

If that was what he achieved in so little time, he needs a medal, not a lot of criticism.

I line James too and would be gutted if he wasn't back next year.

I personally don't get all the dislike for James. I don't think he's genuinely arrogant enough to keep mentioning how he's great and good looking etc. I think it's just his sense of humour. I actually like his choreography as well, I think he really choreographs well for the partners he has. Give him a break!

I've never particularly warmed to James. He reminds me very much of Brendan, with his outspoken comments that always seem to change year in, year out depending on the quality of his partner. But the reason he is not a favourite in my house and Brendan is is pretty simple: Brendan is a beautiful dancer, and James is not. I wouldn't be sad to see him go, but I very much doubt it'll happen. The Beeb wouldn't willingly say goodbye to Ola, who would surely go with him.

It's a bit of a relief he's gone; not so with Aliona.

I've never been a great fan of James, but it'll be strange to have a series where he isn't in it right up until the very end- even Georgina & Gabby lasted longer!

The choreography for the CCC and Tango was all wrong- masking poor technique with comedy, but poor Vanessa hasn't got a comedic bone in her body so it just looked very, very awkward.

I wonder if IT2 will use him for some of their behind-the-scenes segments as they've done in the past. He's actually quite funny and clearly gets on well with all the pros and celebs and he's actually a natural with a microphone in his hand.

That's what I'm hoping. I remember him going behind the scenes at Blackpool a few times. Was very good.

If you're right then she can blame no one but herself but in all fairness, she does have a very early radio show to do five days a week.

Cranfield, please update yourself. This year is 2013 not 2009 or earlier. It doesn't go down well with the other punters if you resurrect bile from previous seasons.

James has learned to control his remarks in front of camera, has been exceptionally polite to Vanessa and did the best he could with that sack of fluffy potato mix.
