Yes, I really liked the celebration of that 10-year wedding anniversary. And I think both are goodlooking - wish James would grow his hair a tad longer - I liked his look when he first joined Strictly.

Sad to see James out so early and certainly don't want to see him gone next year ! Yes, I hope that SCD uses him a lot for behind the scenes and anything else eg pro dances.

I suspect he can't grow his hair out like he used to. One previosu series on ITT he was having his hair cut and made a joke (along the lines) of not having much left. I have male friends that have receeding hairlines and they're all in their 20s.

Read an article in the newspaper today Sunday Mirror that he has been complaining about how much the judges are paid compared to the pro-dancers.

He said that the judges only turn up for the Saturday show where as the pro-dancers work a lot harder.

Oh! Dear methinks Mr Jordan should keep his mouth shut.

Still it doesn't affect him now does it Vanessa has gone so he can have a lie down for the rest of the series. He will only have to turn up on Saturdays now himself for the pro-dancers routine.

James sometimes gets on my wick, sometimes I think he's lovely. This year he was mostly lovely I think James was due an early exit though.

Not a huge James fan but with little exception he has always been very supportive of his partners and I found his departing comments about Vanessa genuinely sincere.

James Jordan from his tweets seems like a nice articulate and intelligent guy. Yes he is a hard worker in the training room and pushes his partners hard.

Even miss Georgina Bouzova who was poor in every aspect I recall he was very supportive after the tongue lashing she got after her "Rumba in cement"

He is correct it is totally off imo the judges should be paid a lot less and the pros more, they work really hard every week

A lot of James humour gets taken wrongly and is seen as arrogance. Lighten up people and see the funny side. I hope he is back next year, Ola too as she is my favourite dancer.

Of all the permanent staff involved with the show, the pro dancers have always been paid the least for the most work!

I'm not sure what the current figures are, but a few series ago it was

Brucie £500,000 (an obscene amount of money)
Tess £150,000
Judges £100,000
Celebs £50,000
Pro Dancers £30,000

The pro dancers put in hours of training every week (think I read somewhere it was a minimum of 12 hours with no maximum), plus rehearsals on Friday, and all day Saturday - as well as choreographing their own routines. For some they will be living away from home as they follow their celebs around for training...... This series for instance, Ola will be away training with Ashley near the Hollyoaks set.

The judges just turn up on Saturday in time for the dress rehearsal so get a lot more money for essentially one day's work.

Who's Job is more essential to the show??? Well in my book it's the pros - without them there is no show, and it could survive without the judges and rely solely on just the public vote.

Think the way it's done now with the celebs getting paid more according to how far they go in the show is much fairer - previously the got paid the same whether they went in week 1 or week 10 - but the pro dancers are woefully underpaid for what they do..... And Bruce is obscenely overpaid for what he does.

I think James is a bit of a catalyst among the pros in creating a good atmosphere backstage.

He has an attitude that he wants the celeb to put the effort in in the same way he does and he wants the two of them to become a team.

Even Georgina, who many people have quoted as being an example of James's bad behaviour to a celeb was full of praise for him in an interview she gave.

He used to treat it like a dance competition and was too competitive, but around about the John Sergeant era he finally accepted that it was at least equally a popularity contest.

I'm not a fan of James but I think he is totally right about this.

All of the above, plus the pros risk injury, as we see every season - the judges are safe in their seats (well with the possible exception of Bruno )

I cant imagine James critiquing a dance with the comment

"Your transitions between amalgamations were a bit crumbly."

You have to pay extra for constructive criticism like that.

No matter how much the Beeb and the judges try, they'll never get rid of Brendan, Anton or James. They're just far too popular.

That price disparity is shocking. The pros are what make the show for me. The way the judges have been marking, I don't think they are earning their keep at all this year!

I could not believe this when I saw it - In case of Bruce it smacks of the one of the worst examples of "old boy network". Think the BBC need to look carefully at this and good on James to make a point about it - I certainly agree with him, this is disgraceful.
