^ Yeah but we didn't used to know which of the two had pulled in the least votes, apart from in deadlock situations. It would be better for the judges to keep in the one who's more popular with the voters.

10 minutes isn't that much of an influence on popularity... I assume it was VERY close between the majority of acts.
