Show is losing viewers yet they kill the Sunday tension
Down to 7.5 million viewers, that dull show isn't going to help.
They have killed a huge amount of Sunday tension with knowing one who is there already. With the dullness of that I hope we don't lose anymore viewers |

I agree, that was the worst the results show has been in years. I hope they stop doing this awful flash vote and cover it up as just a week 1 twist.

Tweet Cowell. He's got his ears open, apparently.
If enough people tell him it's not working, he may revert back... |

The flash vote is just a terrible idea. And it means if the first two judges to vote vote for whoever lost the flash vote, then they're going home. Zero drama.
Just a pathetic way to get people to vote twice a week. |

I don't think they should keep it.
we should all email ITV to just drop it. It removes the tension. |

Agreed, the tension was majorly lacking already knowing one half of the bottom. If they must do the flash vote, reveal the result on Sunday with the main result at least!

I hate the flash vote - wish it was back to how it used to be- agree no tension.
Be better if they had put 16 acts through - 4 per category - then Melanie, Joseph, Paul could be there. Then like series 7 (One Direction, Cher Lloyd , Wagner year) we could have a couple of double eliminations some weeks to add a bit more tension to the results show. |

just said this in the ratings thread
really cant understand why they would want to do away with what has been the most dramatic and controversial part of the show , even if it was a bit contrived at times |

Come back deadlock, all is forgiven!
You can email ITV at viewerservices@itv.com - enough emails should be enough to get them to drop it. Ofcom is the other option. |

It also gives the loser of the flash vote a day to mentally prepare whist the other person only has a few mins. Seems quite unfair.

I have no problem with it if it's just a snapshot but to put one in the sing off after 8 minutes seems so unfair

In all essence what you are after is the ordinary announce the bottom two on Sunday result as previous years. |

Really flat show, the guests didn't help either. Need something like last season when James and Ella ended in the bottom 2, that was dramatic. Tonight was zzzzzzzzzzzzz
