Can be hard to tell sometimes with a varied Strictly audience but as guess, and that's all it is I think next to go will be/.....
Julien. Deborah/Patrick (can't choose but maybe Patrick). Deborah/Fiona (will go with Deborah). Fiona. Mark/Dave (will go with Dave, because think Mark is a better, dance wise). Rachel/Mark (depends on which has improved the the most, if they both make it to this point). Ben/Susanna (she's the better dancer atm, but he seems more liked, so he might pip it her on likeabilty). Sophie/Abbey/Natalie/Ashley (I think these four will be jostling to the quarters and will prob swap places as to who is favourite to win from here until then). |

Deborah Patrick Fiona Mark Rachel Dave Ben Susanna Abbey Ashley Natalie Sophie Although Natalie and Sophie are interchangable IMO, depending on how well Sophie progresses. |

I think:
1 Sophie Ellis-Bextor 2 Ashley Taylor-Dawson 3 Natalie Gumede 4 Susanna Reid 5 Abbey Clancy 6 Rachel Riley (vs Abbey Clancy) 7 Ben Cohen (vs Natalie Gumede - shock) 8 Deborah Meaden (vs Abbey Clancy) 9 Mark Benton (vs Deborah Meaden) 10 Patrick Robinson (vs Abbey Clancy) 11 Fiona Fullerton (vs Mark Benton) 12 Dave Myers (vs Fiona Fullerton) 13 Julien McDonald (vs Patrick Robinson) 14 Vanessa Feltz (vs Julien McDonald) 15 Tony Jacklin (vs Julien McDonald) |

12 Fiona 11 Mark 10 Deborah 9 Patrick 8 Dave 7 Abbey 6 Rachel 5 Ben 4 Sophie 3 Susanna 2 Ashley 1 Natalie I found the top 4 quite hard - could really have put them in any order. |

This assumes a 3-couple final with a double elimination in the semis:
13 Julien 12 Dave 11 Patrick 10 Deborah 9 Fiona 8 Mark 7 Ben 6 Rachel 5 Ashley 4 Abbey 3 Natalie 2 Susanna 1 Sophie |

I also agree with an above post saying that Natalie will be in a shock bottom 2 - she'll score highly but there will be a backlash against not her personally but how the judges are also scoring others in comparison to her to keep her place on the leaderboard as happened to Kimberley Walsh last year. It'd be nice to see a "shock" winner but the judges always have their favourites and we the public also seem to see them as ours too (but I do have a soft spot for Ashley as you can see!) |

I think Natalie will be in at least one dance-off around week 10 or 11 (taking into account the extra week this year and when Denise and Jason first fell into bottom two).
And I still maintain that the producers are going to try and trip Ashley up somehow if they're really set on a female winner. |

Yeah, having looked at it, I'm not sure who I think she's getting shock-booted against. Maybe I'm just hoping, because I'm longing for a SHOCKBOOT. It's been too long.

I don't think Natalie will win this year, for potentially the same reason as Denise (not liked enough as person despite being a nice dancer). Luckily for Kara she was thought of as nice person by the majority on top of being a lovely dancer, so her pre-dance experience seemed to be tolerated more because she was like enough to be rooted for. And I think she was liked regardless of whether she and Artem had an unfoldng romance or not, as some people didn't even like Artem that first year and thought he was grumpy and mean to Kara (and didn't even believe the romance to be real).

Either that or she makes a mistake in the dance off though the Strictly judges can be quite forgiving of that with "better" dancers than the DOI judges for example.
I remember the Phil Tuffnell dance off clearly with Ricky Groves where Ricky made tons of mistakes in his VW and Phil made none and because Len had the casting vote and chose Ricky as the "better" dancer he was saved and Phil went despite doing nothing wrong! |

I think what helped Kara was that her dance experience didn't really get a lot of press coverage. For whatever reason, Denise doing the show has changed the tone of coverage, and now the papers are probably going to rake up "the new Denise" every year. Before her, very few of the contestants with a dance background's experience was really a prominent press story, as opposed to just the usual forum rumblings.
