Does she not know this is supposed to be a glamorous show?

I am puzzled as to why there are so many complaints about Tess and yet people seem oblivious to the fact that she is usually stood beside something resembling Quasimodo in a pillowcase. I noticed she changed it up this week with a splash of colour (white t-shirt) and finished it off with a black cardigan. Absolutely shocking, and that's before you take into account the hair and makeup. It's like some goth chick with bad posture just wondered onto the set.

The dress sense of people on this forum must be something to behold, if Tess is admonished and Winkleman is ignored. If my girlfriend dressed like her in public i would dump her.

If your girlfriend knew you were that shallow she'd dump you.

Well I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here in that I assume you would first talk to your girlfriend about it??

But yes, re. CW, I have never understood why she seems to be utterly oblivious to the fact that she looks so dreadful. <<Quasimodo in a pillowcase.>> LOL!

And her hunched up, it's-only-little-me posture drives me mad.

I feel very sorry for your girlfriend I hope she reads this forum & finds out how shallow you are.

You say that like it's a bad thing. I think our Claud is wanderful.

Nice trolling. I suspect your girlfriend is your hand and the only clothes she gets to wear is the occasional woolly glove.

Claudia is not an embarrassment! She is a great presenter with a quirky likeable quality which is missing in so many female presenters IMO.

Claudia is OK, leave her alone.

You must be paying her lots.

Claudia dresses perfectly fine. Perhaps not how you'd like, but I severely doubt she's pulling her hair out over what people thought of an outfit she wore in a forty minute-long pre-recorded show.

I do like Claudia but have to admit that her posture is terrible and she always looks black. However Tess seemed to be wearing recycled car tyre on the results show !

Claudia has her own style of dress sense and what she is comfortable wearing. Tess is the same. They have different styles, so Claudia wearing something Tess wears would not look right on her and Visa versa.

Claudia is fantastic. I don't really care what she wears.

They have to dress her so that she looks drab in comparison to everything alongside her. If they didn't do that then she might steal the limelight from Len's Lens

I love the way Claudia dresses and her overall look. I just wish she was on Strictly more

I don't really see how whether or not you find her attractive effects her ability to do her job.

Quasimodo in a pillowcase! That actually made me laugh out loud.
But I like Claudia. I like that she doesn't look like everyone else on the telly and I like her wit and general quirkiness

You used the word 'admonished', back to the Nineteenth Century with you...

You miss the point! My friend..... It is all about the cleverness of Claudia, her humour is understated, hugely clever and intelligent, and suitably dressed down to complete the picture..... Perfect comedy presenter....... I absolutely love her!

I love Claudia, yes she is quirky, and does have terrible posture, but she is still adorable.

I like Claudia and she was perfect for ITT but I do think that she hasn't quite got the hang of the main show and I do find the interaction betwen her and Tess a tad embarrassing to say the least!

She is also always squinting and should get new contacts!

Agreed, very good point, although to be fair to her I think you have to understand her SoH to "get it," so to speak, But I noticed the squinting too. And two people tonight agreed with the OP on her dress sense. That's not something I feel I can comment on though!

I love Claudia (and so miss her on ITT), but I would like to see her in something more dressy on the Sunday show.

Last week she looked fab in the black jumpsuit, just right for her role on the show.

Tess chooses her own dresses, so I'm guessing Claudia makes her own choices too.

I think the producers need to get a grip on this subject and tell Wardrobe to work out how to dress the two women who present the Sunday show, so that there is not a huge difference in the 'glam' level between them. This doesn't have to mean their personal style goes out of the window.

On DWTS Brooke Burke Charvet is the female equivalent of Tess and always looks amazing. I don't think I've ever watched the show and thought she's made a mistake with her gown - unlike Tess, who can be pretty hit and miss with her choices.

It's an unusual situation to see two women presenters and I don't want to see Claudia looking like the poor relation - or vice versa which is what happened last Sunday.
