- her number did not show up on the vote on yesterday's show when they all scroll across the screen
- Nicole admitted to keeping Shelley for novelty purposes...

Typical talent axing nonsense

Rigged or not, she would have left early anyway - I didn't think people will vote for her that much tbh

No-one would care as everyone knows neither of them would get anywhere near the final.

True . They should have kicked them both out tonight , that would have made the headlines . Win win situation

Funnily enough... Carolynne Poole also sang There You'll Be by Faith Hill as her save me song an exact year ago... also the first elimination...

why?....no one was really bothered about her tbh.

and she was dreadful at tuning. i don't like shelly, but she was actually the better singer in fairness.

Same could have been said of Alex or Leona at this time in their respective series's.

Anyone up against Shelley was gonna struggle. They definitely want her to be in it for a while because she provokes more of a reaction than someone like Lorna, who's an awesome singer but a little boring.

Shelley is there to be a target for harsh comments later on.

I dont see how Lorna was such an awesome singer. I liked her, and have enjoyed most of her performances but she cant control her voice well, especially on the big notes.

Shelly is not my cuppa, but based purely on the save me song, she sang better than Lorna.

This.

Shelley is lucky. I suspect any act other than Lorna would have been kept over her.

If Sharon had voted to save Lorna she would have stayed.

No one will remember her by this time next week, never mind 5 weeks into the show.

I was more surprised that she survived the flash vote last night...

She's just not popular. If anything, the first target for assassination is Miss Dynamix.

Lorna has been on a show watched by millions for weeks now. I still have more twitter followers than her. That says it all.

It was an exact repeat of last year's first sing off

Talented but quiet over sings There You'll Be, quirky act everyone expected to go first sings One Night Only.
