Will fully admit that made me laugh [at/maybe with-ish, hmmmmm] muchly

Not a big Vic supporter (kinda fell into a middling ground for me). Personally, i think the majority of his funny moments were 'laugh-ats' rather than 'laugh-withs' - i prefer the latter. My take was he was at his funniest when he was 'seriously' (go figure) thinking he was being superiorly intelligent and cool and reading "the game"...it was amusing to watch how off he was and how unintelligent he appeared, at times.
I doubt i'll ever be able to see Vic in the role of great wit because he didn't have the natural dryness and necessary off-the-cuff one-liner ability...my view.
He made people chortle and may well continue to do so, for me it didn't quite gel, was too prepared and overworked on his 'intentional funnies' and just laugh-ats the rest of the time.
Fair play, i'm sure that doesn't matter to him a jot - he's now got one part of a set of bookends.
