yikes i havent read this thread properly and what dany has said but im suprised hes been banned!

As for vic he did make me laugh in bb! He always tried to act this big tough gansta.. when he so wasnt! i liked his boyz to men imitation too!

She never answers the relevant questions when cornered. I waited all night and went to sleep as i knew she would never answer the direct question.

Always tries to hide behind her dyslexia as if she is the only FM with the difficulty.

Always quick to abuse, even when none was directed at her. And to think I have always supported her!

I'm a tad bemused (thread-wise) as to what may/may not have happened to warrant Dany a ban - temporary or otherwise - it's possible SOMETHING has gone on behind the scene DS:-ily (PMs/comms with admin/etc).

I'd hope to see such an ethusiastic BB-er back, irregardless of oft times disagreeing with or shaking head at confuzzled-ness of her posts.

i'd kinda like to think that even a dedicated opposition may find a lacking somewhere too.

Dany called it like she saw it, even if her vision seemed confused and limited, on occassion...fair play.

I've seen temporary bans happen, not that often; sometimes it seems (from the outside looking in) as though a FMs' response to a ban and how they interact with 'admin' during that process can determine how long/the extent to which they become persona non grata.

/disclaimer: simply my take based on times gone by.

while i recognized some of Dany's posts were immflamatory and divisive i saw nothing which appeared to warrant a ban - don't know how many/who may have pressed alert; otherwise it may well be a behind the scenes issue which is as well kept off the boards. it could be something non-DS:BB related and resultant from another fora within the DS sphere.

You need to be extra careful then. You do post close to the edge sometimes.

I am sure that if you adjust the tone of your posts down a little bit and avoid long discussions with some stubborn FMs, the likelyhood of further sanctions might diminish.

I believe the mods realise that we all make mistakes and a warning or two might be enough to avoid repeating the same incident to trigger a ban.

i have been trying as well
its just when i sink my teeth into something i find it difficult to let go.
and i have a very low tolerance for poor logic.
and people who will not admit to being wrong .... this affects my personal life heavily. but it could be worse. at least i am aware of (some of) my foibles

Maybe Dany was sometimes, also, aware but followed the offence-defence adage - i don't know...i can appreciate your frustrations BUT many of Dany's points were offered (however cack-handedly) as subjective opinion - the simple realm of DS:BB, for better or worse. Those which were offered as 'matters of fact' (unadulterated) were fair game for challenge - however, even challenge of those points did appear to, sometimes, verge on hounding.

Dany frequently seemed muddled (logically - presshardy, you did throw in a few logical fallicies yourself, along the way ) but there was, sometimes, valid and sum and substance to the point Dany desired (however badly) to make.

It got messy...all to blame, not just one?
