Dependant on your actual equipment, it might be easier to just buy a Roku/Apple TV type internet/media box that plugs directly into your TV...

But you can use the ipad as a browser and display netflix conent on screen though which is far easier than the crappy interface AppleTV has

Does anyone know how to change the DNS on Virgin, my brother just had it installed last week he wants to try the US content with a weeks trial with unblockus.

Don't think you can change it on the Virgin hubs, as my mate tried that and he couldn't do it, so he set up different DNS for services like Unblock-us on his computer and apple tv instead.
