Just bought one of these two weeks ago. It seems to take ages (3 to 4 hours) to charge from about 40%. I use the charger supplied with it.

1. Is this a normal amount of time to recharge?
2. Can I use an Ipod/Ipad charger and would that be any faster?

Otherwise, I'm delighted with the tablet but 4 hours to recharge! My Samsung phone only takes 45 minutes from 20%!

In answer to your 1st question, mine charges from flat (i charge when its about 15% charge left) in about 4-5 hours so yours seems quite slow. Just leave it to charge overnight maybe?
As for the second question. I think the plugs are slightly different so no. Someone may correct me though.

My Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 took over 15 hours to get fully charged from flat. I'm not bothered about it as I leave it over night sometimes.
