X Factor revamp?! Realistic(ish) ideas...
Anyone got any ideas? It needs something...flash vote and Sharon don't seem to be enough really. It's become a bit of a joke. I did like the boot camp chairs though.
How about presenters who have actually been on XF? One of JLS? Alexandra Burke? How about splitting categories so each judge has one of each? I think at least one international judge is a good idea but maybe someone slightly more toned down...I'm thinking Alicia Keys or similar. Or a Brit with international fame like Estelle. And like The Voice maybe a judge from a slightly quirkier genre? Sia? Bjork? Dizzee Rascal? Any more? |

I think, bring Simon back. Go back to bootcamp without an audience.
Get rid of the pesky side monitors at the side of the stage in the live shows. Or really, get some sort of new set. Stop trying to alienate the older audience. Aim the show at a wide audience rather than just a youthful audience like they seem to be doing at the moment. Make it more of a family show rather than one only young people are going to enjoy. Drop the flash vote - well, they could do that in a few weeks actually. |

stop allowing acts who have management appearing. I think that's 1 of the places that x factor has lost its charm as deals are cut etc between the execs and management.. I liked to root for the act who had been singin in pubs etc and just never got that lucky break. it seems now its more about the dolla

And people say the X factor us getting predictable. Every single year someone starts a thread about an X factor revamp. This forum is almost as predictable. I am no saint and do a few predictable things, like going into a thread which I know I shouldn't and making a comment, but these threads are getting a bit boring now because it's always the same solutions.

I really don't think any of those 'solutions' would bring anything what so ever to the show.
