The Rolling Stones, like they'd touch it with a barge pole..

Actually, I think the guest performances are largely a waste of time and I loathe the obligatory standing ovations..
I'd sooner they just got on with the results..I'm sure it used to be like that, back in the early days.

I'd rather there were no guest performances, unless the guest were to give up their time and do a bit of coaching (I don't think we've ever had any sort of "masterclass," ) during the week, rather than using it as a platform to flog their latest single/album..

Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus (for Lols), The Rolling Stones would be cool too, Paul McCartney's been on the show before so it's not unlikely

Edit: Add Rod Stewart to the list

Um how about James Arthur, next week, when his single is release. He's only the winner...cannot believe he's not performing.

Trust me, the Stones wouldn't be seen dead on the show..
At this stage in their lengthy career, they're not likely to need to plug any material they release..

Britney Spears would be an interesting choice..hopefully, this time she could actually manage to sing live in order to "earn," her standing ovation?

Rich.

He is performing just not this week which I do find strange as the single is out on Sunday .
