Yes. I have been seeing them on and off for a while now.
I believe certain ad blockers help going from what other FMs have said. I'm sure I read something from forum support a while ago suggesting they should only appear to non-members, but that clearly isn't what is actually happening. |

Yes, since yesterday. I've reported it, but it might help if others did too.
Sometimes if you log out and back in, they go, but not for me this time

Yes and most annoying it is too. It normally only happens to me if at work and not logged in to DS, but am most definitely logged in today and green linkeys everywhere!

A word of warning...
Being annoyed by this a couple of weeks ago, I did a forum search and found this thread which includes steps to turn off 'ad choices'. I followed the steps and now my internet takes around 5 minutes to warm up and, to rub salt in the wound, I still have the green text links in this sub-forum

Nope ... I think my Firefox Ad Block takes care of them.

I get them if I am logged in through IE but not if I am logged in via Chrome.

I'm getting both sides of the page taken over by adds for Continental tyres - and no 'X' to close them. Makes navigating the pages almost impossible.

I had one for Beko that took up both sides of the page. I had to log in to my google account to get rid of it

Me too - though logging out of DS and back in got rid of it for me.
(Note to advertisers - not even providing a means of getting rid of an ad is a sure way to drive away future custom. Twits.) And yes, annoying internet ads are a surefire way to put me off a product. |

I was getting all smug for not getting green linkeys and now I've got massive freaking banners either side of the page.

Just get adblock plus. I installed it on firefox and have not been assailed by any ads, not even on youtube. It was a joy!
Also, I installed adblock plus onto my smartphone as well and besides the screen jumping issues that many other android based phones are still suffering from, I son't see any green monaster lurking anywhere... |

To add to the annoying green links, I have a random vertical line protruding from the top left hand advert intermittently hijacking my page. It looks like it is attached to a frame and anchor point for the advert placing on the page design as a grey frame also appears over the advert.
Whilst Ad blocks are a good idea, I also tend to find that they break legitimate page content, especially when it uses Flash. Oh well hopefully the annoying links will disappear soon. |

My DS page is free from ads since I installed adblock plus. No lines, no green monsters etc.. I was just trying to help. It worked on all mojor sites with ads, even youtube's annoying ads before the actual playing of the clip you click.

GOOD for you, maggie and poena! Adblock Plus is free and very effective, never encountered a single ad since I installed it on my laptop. The joy of it all!

SCD-O I never meant to insinuate that you weren't being helpful
. I have had a problem with Ad blockers in the past that stop tons of legitimate sites like rail enquiries from working just because they rely on scripts, but maybe I have had dealings with a particularly rigorous and over zealous script blocker! I will give Ad Block a go.

It worked! Thanks, I wouldn't have heard of it if you hadn't mentioned it. Time to get past my suspicion and prejudice against installing stuff on my computer.
