What are they this year? I can't recall any VT from Saturday of judges earnestly mentoring, guiding and advising the acts - presume that means the pendulum's swung more toward them being judges this year. S'pose it makes sense as two judges are not really qualified to dispense advice about the technical side of singing so their mentoring would lack credibility.

Judges when they're judging

Mentors when there's mentoring

don't the early week vts usually put more focus on the contestants' personalities? all that vt mentoring lark comes a bit later, once the live show audience is familiar with everyone, doesn't it?...

Where? All I noticed is that the contestants choose their songs no matter what the judges have to say. And all the 'mentors' do in the Voice is make weird faces and pretend that they're helping their contestants with their singing.

yeah - s'pose you're right; probably a bit early yet and Sharon/Louis need a few weeks to actually learn the names of their acts before they start addressing them......

I remember when Simon said that "Olly" was a member of 1D. I think he forgot Zayn.

I am not getting into a voice vs x-factor debate, you can find someone else to do so. Just to answer your question - if they aren't doing their jobs on the voice then it is their silliness.
