Emmerdale showing them all how it's done

What a brilliantly tense and scary time. Te whole buildup to Cameron's siege has been amazing. The storm adding to the atmosphere

I almost felt like I should be battening down the hatches along with Chas

The atmosphere is electric.

I dot think Emmerdale has ever been this exciting

Emmerdale is amazing at the moment and definitely the best soap right now! The whole storm and siege stuff has been great so far and I agree that they're really building up the tension!

They always have a storm when something dramatic happens. Pathetic phallecy and all that but you know - slightly predictable! ha.

Not really... this is only the third storm I can recall in all of the shows history. Its more realistic than "Eggs flying through windows" and "Council flats blowing up"

Just one episode of Emmerdale is better than the whole of EE in 2013.

Hmmm in 41 years they've had 2 or 3 big storms! It's better the other soaps who constantly do fires and explosions!

Why does it have to always be 'X soap' is better than 'Y soap'? Can we not celebrate a soap's greatness without dissing the others?

But yes, it's great this week.

Agreed. Heck, the only prerequisite for any TV show to be better than EE 2013 is for it to have something resembling a storyline

Emmerdale was ace tonight though. I like big episodes where loads of the cast are involved

I agree - ED is fantastic at the moment, and I think tonight's episode was wonderfully tense. I can't wait for tomorrow.

Even though I had already seen the spoiler pictures on DS of Marlon and Cameron - I genuinely jumped when Marlon turned around to see Cameron standing there.

EastEnders needs to step up a gear.

I am not a regular Emmerdale viewer but when I have seen it is excellent.

Yes, so did I, and the punch was very unexpected and realistic too, I thought.

Another "Well done Emmerdale" from me.

I thought EE was just abysmal tonight.

Glad I came on board when I did, there are loads to keep the audience entertained and by the looks of the October spoilers loads more to come, that's always a worry when a big story that nothing will happen not the case at ED.

Agreed. ED is on fire right now, cast and crew should be so proud.

Hopefully we can reward them for their efforts by voting like mad at the awards.

I love these tit for tat exchanges on DS, they're so nonsensical.

Emmerdale too has had its fair share of fires and explosions so...

I find it hard to believe that there was only one policeman at the wool pack.

I mean the people Cameron blames are in the pub you think there would of been a few more police hanging around.

In all I've been disappointed so far this week.

Definitely, seriously it's wrong Coronation street is treated better by ITV, Emmerdale is far better than that rubbish.

Emmerdale deserves soap of the year, it should have won last year as well.
