Just came across this video of Peter, Lucy and Lauren in Eastenders: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFQYqCmaEOY

How come Peter and Lucy have both taken their ties off but Lauren is still wearing hers? Would the actors have been asked to take them off or chosen to themselves?

Because that's what school kids do when they are out of the premise. Take tie off, put it in pocket...

I guess trying to strike off some realism.

But how come Lauren kept hers on if the other two didn't? If it was real life surely Lucy would have told Lauren to take hers off too?

i don't see the big deal about why she is wearing a tie and the others aren't? When i was at school my friends took theirs off and i would leave mine on, its preference

Yeah because in RL when I take off my jumper I immediately tell my friends to do the same.

Well I do, I want my friends to be perfectly coordinated with me at all times..that might explain why I don't have any friends

Sorry off topic. In Home and Away all the kids go to the same school. Pippa goes to the same school as Sasha. Isn't that odd?
