Akura Android Tablet
I could have patiently waited for a more sophisticated tablet, I suppose. But my wife purchased two of these through her catalogue.
They are cheap and cheerful, originally priced to compete with the Acer Tablet. But when they weighed in at around £70, the missus bought a pair. At the price they will have their downside - I can't use the Sky Go App on it, but I can access the general content of catchup TV from BBC, ITV, C4 and C5 and live feeds of the PSB channels. I subscribe to Spotify, and pleased I can't access that service. The missus loves it that she can access her facebook and candy crush away from the PC. If you're not looking to push it to the limits you expect from a top end tablet/iPad it serves its purpose. |

I read Sky Go and sometimes Netflix are a problem for some Chinese tablets. But for general surfing, Facebook and light games they can be fine . I have a Cube U30GT2 because I liked the large HD screen and have had no problems at all with it.
