See here:

I expect we will see more videos or movies filmed with the 5S.

They may be shot with those phones but I'm sure there will be some editing trickery used to "clean up" the footage.

Can't uunderstand why they would shoot a video with ANY mobile phone unless they were strapped for cash, want the video to look like it's been shot on a mobile or a deal with the mobile phone manufacturer.

You can even tell the difference when they have better cameras on television programs costing several thousand pounds.

Surely a deal with Apple. Otherwise a Panasonic GH2 for example would do a much better job with proper control of Depth of Field and Shutter speed and not much more than an iPhone.

Still amazing how much better camera phones are now. The Galaxy note 3 as much as I hate the form factor does very sharp video too.

yup. its less a music video, more a phone advert featuring the band.

the other option is "band uses the "we shot this on a phone" angle to get coverage of their new video." Like these guys (probably)

I'm not convinced that Linkin Park sat down and out of the blue said, lets do a music video on Dell PCs

Maybe to show how far mobile technology has moved on. Phones actually film decent HD video these days.

Why would they want to show how far video on phones has moved on (it's not up to them)?

Surly they would want the best video as even the best mobile phone video is not going to be as good as a 100 dedicated video recorder, let alone one worth several thousand.
