htc - Current location.

My htc phone has gone from saying where I am (usually Leeds) on the front screen along with the weather info etc. to just saying 'Current location'.

I've tried to re-set it but still saying this, any clues how to get it to say where I am please?

If you havent already try Settings>Location and make sure all the sections are ticked.

Hope this helps.

I suspect it is a network issue rather than the phone. I've got a HTC One and on more than one occasion I've looked at it and it's displaying "Current location" . I've even had it randomly swap between the actual location and "Current location" depending on when I'm looking at it.

Nothing I have ever done with the settings on the phone has made a blind bit of difference hence why I suspect it's the network playing silly b's and not the phone.

I had tried that and all boxes are ticked, but thanks for the advice.

It won't be a network issue as the phone works without a SIM card. I have a HTC and it always displays romford (or where I am)

Well after about six weeks off my current location is now showing as Leeds again.
