I'm with you there. It often makes the cr@pper celebrities look better, particularly if the pace is proper quick . If it isn't though and the dancer is supposedly good (*cough* Lisa Snowdon, Dr Pammie *cough*), it frustrates me (narks me right off) especially when it's praised to the skies.

Natalie's, hopefully, should be good although I do wish it had come in a week when she didn't have to worry about whatever injury she has. I'd like to have seen it knowing that she wasn't having to make any allowances. I think it could have been really special. Obviously it could still be but if it is, I'll cringe slightly, knowing the potential backlash (no pun intended) that might be to come on here.

I'll still thoroughly enjoy it though.

Sorry, I meant to post something quick and acerbic and instead have drivelled on for days. Suffice it to say that the quickstep was where I fell in love with Colin Jackson and made my voodoo doll of Darren Gough.

Another one looking forward to QS's as my favourite dance and expecting a lovely one from Natalie. I'm also looking forward to seeing what Brendan has choreographed for Sophie's foxtrot - I think its the hardest dance for the pro to produce something memorable while hitting sufficient technical bases but Brendan has seemed rejuvenated to me this year so this will be very interesting. [I am not looking forward to Fiona's rumba from what I saw on ITT, much as I like them as a couple!]

Looking forward:

Natalie and Artem - hopefully will be ok.
Abbey and Alijaz - to see if her early promise is maintained
Sophie and Brendan - a good foxtrot is very beautiful. Although I realised this week I don't care much for Brendan after all. But I love Sophie.
Susanna and Kevin - samba ? Interesting

Not looking forward

Fiona and Anton- rumba??
