Time to be confirmed

If the celebrities ever thought taking to the dance floor was scary before, they’re in for a real fright this weekend as Halloween comes to the Strictly Ballroom. Sir Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly present what promises to be a spine-tingling show, as the remaining 11 face their fears and step out once more.

Deciding who was startlingly good, and who was horrifyingly bad, judges Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood will be casting their votes, while viewers take to the voting lines.”

Time to be confirmed
BBC ONE and BBC ONE HD

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman reveal the results of last night’s Halloween special. The judges’ scores and viewers’ votes have been added together, and the two couples with the lowest points will face each other in the dance-off. Then it’s up to the judges to decide which of the celebrities will face a grisly end.

This week’s music performance comes from all-time ska band favourites Madness with their single La Luna from the brand new album Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da.

In keeping with the Halloween theme, viewers can also expect a very special flashmob version of The Time Warp, featuring the celebrities and professional dancers, as well as the entire studio audience.”

Thanks for that info, cwickham. Why am I not surprised?

Deep joy. Props galore, and dances made to fit the questionable "horror & monster" songs that will be dug up.

And two days after the event anyway.

What a waste of time.

I am definitely a hater........ The theme should be good technical achievement , which is gratifying enough and why this show was originally devised I am sure! Why a werewolf would improve a paso and what exactly a vampire can do for a waltz is beyond me...... Producers egos ruled by the moon I assume!

Ditto! I don't much like themes anyway and they've used Halloween as a theme for a few years now. It's time for that theme to be given a rest.

If you say so. Personally I think they are ghastly.

They are surely are running out of songs?

Mr Pinstripe Suit (about Voodoo) would be a great Quickstep (I think Jodie & Ian used this) and Werewolves Of London could be a Samba, but after that, I'm stumped!

EDIT-

The Killing Moon by Nouvelle Vague (as a cover of Echo & The Bunnymen) would be a tremendous Viennese Waltz.

Oh joy - more contrived VTs, songs that don't match dances and props galore. Just what we need
