Hi guys I wonder if you can help me out here.
I’ve just connected a working Homeplug to my Humax HD-FOX-T2 Freeview HD box in order to get some online services. I went to Settings system internet settings configure LAN The following appeared
Ip address
Netmask address
Gateway address
Dns address
There was a IP address and a Netmask Address (don’t want to give them here in case it breaks my security; the Gateway Address and the DNS Address were down as 0.0.0.0
But when I click apply I get the message ‘Network Connection Is Unplugged.’
I don’t understand this message for I’ve tested the homeplug on this computer and it is working fine. Can you offer any suggestions as to what I might do.
Additionally if I press the Humax TV Portal buttonI get the message: ‘Cannot connect to network. Please check your internet or network setting.’
My reason for asking is that I have just subscribed to Netflix and while I can connect my computer directly to the TV I’d like to be able to do so directly. Can you get your Netflix via the Humax box anyway?
I could pick up some TV internet services on my Sony Bravia pre 2011TV but as I understand it Sony are not issuing any more updates for pre 2011 TV’s as they consider them outdated! Hence the reason why I’m trying to pick up Netflick via my Humax
