Pubs / sports bars showing Strictly on TV?

If you are out and about maybe in a city , and you fancy catching the big football game of the day, it's quite easy.
Dozens of pubs and sports bars will let you watch Manchester United while you drink a pint or two.

But if you wanted to catch Strictly while out with the girls?

Anyone seen bars showing it on a nice widescreen tv?

I remember seeing the final of the first series in a pub/restaurant on Salford Quays, not far from where Media City now is. I was out with one girl - the missus.

The bars I go in normally have live footy on or sky sports news, and the ones that have the cable feed on of the topless darts league I could never imagine changing channels for strictly somehow.

The only time I've ever seen Strictly on in a pub it's practically been muted and I've never gone out with the intention of watching it. I'd usually tape Strictly if I was going out on Saturday but half the time it's on in pubs I end up glancing over to see who scored without really seeing the dancing, so essentially ruin the result whenever I get home to watch it the next day.

I think it would be great to be able to watch Strictly on a big screen over a few glasses of wine with a group of friends. Not sure if it would take off though.

I'm still hoping a Strictly bar exists!

or me it would only work if there was a rigidly-enforced silence during the dancing. Everyone can make as much noise as they like during the rest of it!

I don't think I'm capable of being quiet for 90 seconds
