Emmerdale - Amy's Departure question

I'm not sure when this storyline will air but Kelvin Fletcher (Andy) and Isobel Hodgins (Victoria) have tweeted about filming in Hull yesterday and they posted some pics of the cast who were there as they went out for dinner it was Amy, Andy, Victoria, Val, Eric, Kerry, Dan, Joanie and Cain so I'm wondering if its connected to how Amy leaves the show and if so it's interesting that Cain is involved

Maybe they're there to film Amy and Joanie moving away with Kyle somewhere.. And Cain, Kerry, Val and co are saying their emotional goodbyes..

Yeah that's what I think it probably is as everyone there is connected to Amy somehow and it fits with the timeframe of her leaving if that's the case I'd be happy if she gets to look after Kyle along with Joanie not instead of

I don't care how she leaves, as long as she does. I have always hated the lying, cheating, thieving character. ( A good actress though and I hope she gets a better part in something else.)

I think Amy will kidnap Kyle and do a runner, aided and abetted by Cain if necessary. Quite fitting, as she is his mum and Joanie is bitter after her daughter, admittedly Kyle's ex-guardian, was killed.

her daughter IS Kyle's mother, he was adopted not fostered.

Cain wouldn't help Amy either, he already told her to move on

Why do I always find out about these things after the event.

I would have loved to have popped down and watched them filming.

What I was referring to was Amy being Kyle's biological mum, even though Joanie it seems has legal custody of him.

Oh god NO!!!! That would be horrible!

I reckon Amy and Joanie will find some common ground with each other, Joanie decides she wants to move away with Kyle and invites Amy to come with them which she accepts!

Best of both worlds this Kyle will get a mother figure back and Amy will have a nice happy life with her son and her own proper mother figure in Joanie!

Amy wouldn't get very far with Kyle if she done a runner with him!

I agree, this sounds like the way it could go with Amy, Joanie and Kyle leaving together - although I did not think that Denise Blacks contract was so short?

I dont think Cain will be heavily involved , probably when Amy is packing up the car with Kyle Cain will walk over and wish them luck or something to that effect ..

Although i do hope we will see Kyle back in 8 or 9 years to give Cain some grief

I seen that to and i'm a bit baffled by it! Considering that it appears that Amy has filmed her goodbyes it seems like a rushed job to bring Cain into the picture now!

There dosnt seem to be anytime left to tell a good proper story between Amy, Cain and Kyle never mind Joanie's involvement! I dont really want some last minute drama with Cain deciding he now wants to be in Kyle's life and the only reason they go is to escape him because that would be daft!

I suppose time will tell what happens!

The final scenes appear to be filmed on location outside the village! It seems to be a lot of bother for Cain to go to telling a couple of people who he admits he dosnt care about!!!

It would be very odd for Cain to all of a sudden decide that he wanted to be part of Kyle's life.

He has already made his decision but maybe if he had seen him in the village he might have had a change of heart - but he hasn't laid eyes on him at all

I can just picture it now! Amy and Joanie have yet another falling out, Kyle is upset because he wants to see Amy so he takes a bendybus to the village but gets lost and ends up at the farm where he meets Cain and the two have a man to man talk and this leads to Cain now decides he wants to be involved in Kyle's life!

But seriously something will happen that see's Cain confronted with Kyle! I read that James Barton has only filmed a couple of episodes so far so he's not gonna be involved with Cain for the next few weeks at least, so he dosnt have that added distraction when it comes to Kyle!

I think a scene with Amy, Cain and Kyle would be quite good just as-long as its something decent and dosnt end up in a slagging match then Cain decides to throw his weight about! Something like a reflection on how things were when Amy was pregnant and Kyle was born would be nice and it would be good to see what Joanie makes of him to!

Its to late in the day for some natural drama so its either gonna be forced tedious stuff or just a few loose ends being tied up! I hope its the latter!

I hope their there for Amy... after Joannie takes the kid far far away where they can never be bothered by Amy man again. Then Cain can tell her what a stupid deluded bint she is, Victoria can berate her for being a crap friend, only interested in things if they concern her, Val and Eric can give her some home truths about how utterly selfish, inconsiderate, backstabbing and ungrateful she is, Andy can just sit there dying to thump her, and Dan can be moping in the background after Amy man decides she's had enough of village life, and she and her heinous 'mother' decide to bog off back to Geordieland never to return. Credits roll and their never mentioned or seen again.

I bet Amy kidnaps little Kyle and does a runner. Joanie goes to Zak, Victoria and Erik for help and Zak emotionally blackmails Cain into finding them. Cain uses his 'contacts' and they track her down. Amy will do a runner, or Joanie will have a change of heart, and Amy will decide to move to town to be nearer him.

Maybe the whole seige episode served as a wake up call for Cain.

Being too far away and unable to protect his daughter may have made him realise certain things.

Might have made him want to be there for his son and not miss out on any more years, like he did with Debbie when she was a child.

It will probably take a few words from Moira until he fully recognises what he is truly feeling deep down.

I think that's more likely than Joanie giving Kyle to Amy or Cain having a change of heart. I too think Amy will do something stupid like take Kyle she has already (but changed her mind), she really believes she is better for him than Joanie and she is selfish enough to think she can do better than Joanie and that she deserves Kyle because she has changed her mind. I think that Cain will be called in to find her like you say by Zak,

I really hope Joanie does not give Amy Kyle or even let her have any contact with him after all this.
