Susanna. She's got the attack and can do the style and glamour , if she gains the technical detail and praise for it she will look like the improver in a way that Natalie and Sophie can't. She's the chaser and if she catches up her journey may be successful.

Rachel would have a bigger journey, but she has to make a much bigger leap in more aspects to get there.

Deborah is certainly on a real journey - not sure if it goes far enough

Ben will get the male journey story , as did his predecessors, but like the other contenders for journeyman I don't think its going to be very convincing.

I don't get the Ben is on a journey idea. Sure his rumba wasn't the car crash that was expected, mostly thanks to Kristina's choreo, but he still didn't do much and he is still stiff and akward. He is good looking and his daughters are very sweet, but beyond that... Not convinced.

Ben was actually quite entertaining and open to try things on the Alan Carr show. He's also a caring person so as he starts to relax and be himself, he will gain in popularity. Having so much training time, his progress has been slow, but he does seem to have slight signs that he could learn technique and maybe become a more polished dancer.

Rachel doesn't seem to have the same levels of co-ordination as Ben and has restricted training time. Its going to be more difficult to get her looking like a good dancer but she is working very hard. She will probably find it more difficult than Ben to let herself go and be less restrained.
So I think it will be more of a miracle if Rachel gets to her maximum potential but would like to see that happen.

Ben also has the advantage that probably before he started the show he had a big fan base and I think he'll pick up more fans if he improves.

Rachel is popular too because she's very attractive and on tv - the problem for her though as well as being a complete beginner, she's competing against a strong female cast - I'm still rooting for her to do well though.

Well b*gger it, I missed that because he certainly didn't shoot up mine.......

I voted for Mark, more in hope than expectation. I want to see him miraculously shed an enormous amount of weight, jettison those knee supports and start tripping the light fantastic around Elstree and beyond.. ..

I'm convinced he could be more than just adequate and with his engaging personality and performance ability he could be a real contender.

That's only in my little world, though - but I still love him.

Failing that I guess I'll just have to find out if Ben is still shooting up ovaries and get my name down on the list.......
