........Finally, on their CV, a staffer at Rockstar's New England support studio vaguely says they are now working on the "Next version of a famous IP" following the completion of work on Grand Theft Auto V. This is vague, but it does seemingly disqualify Agent, which, of course, is not a preexisting IP. Ostensibly, one could argue potential GTAV DLC might qualify as a "next version." I would personally guess this "next version" is that or the much-wished-for third Red Dead game, though I personally long for a Bully follow-up
I hope this is true. A next gen Red Dead game would be awesome

Oh God, would it. I love Red Dead, probrably one of my all time favourites. I'm not sure how the story is going to be considering the ending of the last one, hrmm.. maybe a prequel, not sure.

Just won't get my hopes up high yet, but it is nice to hear.

It could also be Bully as they mentioned wanting to make another one.

A new Bully game would also be very interesting as long as they got the story right.

Maybe a spinoff? 'Trevor Phillips school years'?

Sheesh, imagine the outcry from all the parents if they did do Trevor as a schoolkid.

Red Dead is my favourite game of all time, and I really hope there's another one - but not yet. I want to see it maximise the potential of the next gen. Given the time setting of Red Dead Redemption, I'd imagine it'd possibly have to be set a bit earlier or risk losing its Wild West edge.

I wouldn't mind a brand new set of characters either, with a brand new story...so long as it was good. Kind of like how GTA 3 and 4 are the same city, but totally different.

I also wouldn't mind seeing another Bully game. The first was so underrated and oddly lost out because of its controversy rather than gaining from it. I'm actually hoping this is the game we get

I'd be more hyped for a next gen Red Dead than I was with GTA 5 as it's one of my best games of all time also

I'd rather it was Bully 2

If bully is anything to go by then they only need to create a school and a small town which, given GTA V, won't be to much of a task

Throw in some new and more diverse lessons and diversions and you are done

With Red Dead it would take them years just to create the game world and then even longer to populate it with stuff to do

If i was rockstar, do a bully quickly but do it right and while working on bully 2, have development of a new red dead happening in the background

Yeah there were some pretty strong rumours of a new Bully game in production (I think it was the main sound guy who leaked some info that he was working on it) a couple of years ago. Rockstar San Diego have to be working on something after RDR but you would of thought it would be RDR 2 due to their experience. Rockstar New England have worked on Bully in the past so it's probably that.

I would be happy with either but I think Bully 2 has more potential as the setting is really unique.

Where's Ash when you need him?

BIB: It would be the third game - following Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Revolver.

Red Dead Revenge, anyone? Red Dead Revolution?

But I hope to see a new game in this series later on in the next-gen run. I imagine a new set of characters would be a bit more appropriate given the ending of the last game - maybe room for crossover with one or two, akin to the crossovers in the GTA games

An all singing all dancing next gen Red Dead would be an absolute must buy for me - the super ultimate collectors edition too.

Maybe they could set it in/around the civil war (like a certain spaghetti western)?

I'd have thought a prequel, that way you could still have John Marsden.

Redemption he always talked about the bad things he'd done in the past, was this referring to Revolver? Or was that another character?

Would love another Red Dead game!

Could it be L.A. Noire?

Playing this right now trying to get 100% enjoying it immensely. Any sequel or even better prequel would be great.

It's on my list. Played it on my old Tag but only got to about 35-40% before I screwed myself. Just getting into AC3 and hope to have that done by weekend. Then RDR and Bioshock Infinite before X1. Not that I can't go back to 360 I just want a more reputable GamerScore going in.

I hope you do better at Five Finger Fillet than I did. Nearly all my money gone and 2 hours later I finally managed to win it.

If its a new Red Dead i hope they dont carry on with John Marsden's son. Loved the game but once the story had been finished I had no ambition to carry on with him. It just wasnt the same without John!!
