Twinnings fruit teas - an aquired taste?
In order to cut down on my caffeine intake, I've now made 3 attempts to try Twinnings fruit teas - spiced apple, lemon & ginger and now blackcurrent and vanilla - but each time, they taste like hot water with a bit of fruit juice added and actually remind me of Beechams Lemsips.
Are there people out there who weren't impressed with them at first but stuck with them and eventually liked them? |

They are an acquired taste. If you like mint tea, try Tesco's Finest Peppermint tea, it's delightful.

I will admit, I've only tried each flavour twice and should probably stick with them a bit longer but they're no substitute for a proper cup of tea. |

They are an acquired taste I think. I started with Peppermint which is great for digestion and then became more adventurous. Pep or Ginger are still my favourites though.

I love them, they're more or less all I drink. In my house at the mo I have about 10 boxes of different flavours. Think I have a problem

I've never been able to get into them, though I've tried a few. They always smell delicious, but then I find them disappointingly tasteless in comparison. I do like the peppermint, though there are better mint teas out there.

I slice ginger with a potato peeler, put it in a cup with a stick of cinnamon and pour on boiling water and leave it for a while (and I use it twice) I have tried lots of flavoured teas as I don't like black tea but IMO are a waste of money.
I do drink Green tea but leaf and not bags. |

I love the Blackcurrant, vanilla and ginseng one and the camomile and honey. The others I can take or leave.

They tell you the 'brew time' is 3-4mins.But that's nonsense.
You have to leave it for about 7-8 mins to get the full flavour with a bit of dunking and dabbing the bag. I have mine in a thermal mug,so it stays nice and hot. I like the Blueberry and Apple and the Orange Crush amongst many others.

You can't call them tea unless they have some sort of tea in them and most don't.
Anyway, I like the lemon & ginger one. |

( I don't drink coffee at all because the smell sometimes makes me feel a bit sick ) |
