But it's better than usual for the past few years.”
Cheers for that. Never knew that CSI was such a huge draw 5 years ago. Nowadays I think only American Idol can hit that 30m mark.
I think here in the UK, it might get similar figures to the premiere, maybe even topping it depending on the competition on the night.

For the rest of that first week, there were updates at 11pm... for five minutes!
From week two, the conventional half-hour shows ran Tuesdays to Thursdays at 11pm. The eviction on Friday was, I seem to remember, at 8.30 and 10.30. On Saturday there was a half-hour compilation of the week at around 8.30 and then on the Monday at 8pm was an hour-long show which mixed the highlights with the psychiatrists' comments. Halfway through the run, the highlights were moved from 11pm to 10pm by popular demand.
In the second series, in addition to the regular highlights shows, on Saturday you got Big Brother Reveals More for an hour at 9pm. I used to like that show because it was a compilation of the week using loads of previously unseen footage so it used to be quite interesting to see the evictions entirely from the perspective of the housemates and lots of silliness that was too inconsequential to include on the daily show. Best series that, too (bearing in mind I haven't watched it since series four).
It was still half an hour in 2002 and 2003 as it was followed by V Graham Norton at 10.30 every night. And after that I couldn't care less about it so I dunno about the rest. But if there's anything you specifically want to know, do ask.”

My confusion was that, in the week Nick was kicked out, the cricket was rained off on the Saturday and they showed his departure again to replace the highlights.
The Saturday night compilations were also repeated later in the year, they showed them from the start on Friday nights at about 11.30. Seems funny, that, now, but it was supposed to be a documentary in those days.
Er, carry on.”
Thanks a lot for that. Big Brother's moved around a lot over the years! It's a shame that C4 mess around with its schedule nowadays, such as next week, and try to use BB to improve another show's ratings. And sometimes it doesn't pay off, like Dead Set recently. I think next week's 8pm shows, especially the Monday one, will get a battering from the soaps.
