This may sound mean but I can't see most of these Digitals making it past their third or fourth episode, many people are just jumping on the bandwagon.

As there's only 5 soaps at the soap awards (Eastenders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Coronation Street and Doctors) there should only be 5 Digital at the Digital awards (Digital Way, Digital Street, Digital School, Digital Hotel and Digital Prison). Any more Digitals that are made won't be included in the awards ceremony.

Another rule should be that each soap has to have aired 10 or more episodes to get in the awards.

Yes. I have faith in makingapoint and sugarandspice to make sure Digital Prison and Digital School do well, never seen Digital Hotel's creator anywhere around here before. :P

Preview for Monday 21st October

Episode summary - Pressure mounts on Carla when she is forced to hide her dirty little secret from Dom, whilst Daisy and Rose’ loyalty and trust is put to the test where Danny is concerned. Meanwhile, Janine plans a quiet night in for her and Chris.

Monday 21st October: Episode 2

The episode begins with Dom opening up The Vine Inn, as Carla stands, watching him from behind the bar. He turns to her and smiles, before she walks back into the back of the pub, ashamed of herself. In flat 2G, Daisy stands, making herself some toast, before Rose emerges from her bedroom and asks for some breakfast. Daisy says she’s going to go back to her old high school today as she is trying to gather some experience for college, whilst Rose is going to go and work in the sweet shop. In Digital Way House, Barbara sits at the dinner table, eating her breakfast, when Janine asks Barbara if she could possibly clear the house that night, as Janine is planning a movie night for her and Chris, as it’s there 20th anniversary of being together.

Barbara and Jamie then leave the house, as Janine begins planning something romantic. In the sweet shop, Katy works behind the counter as Rose checks the stock, telling Katy how much she likes Danny. Suddenly, Danny enters and asks them if they have any fizzy sweets, and as Katy serves them, Rose asks them if he likes fizzy sweets. Danny reveals they’re for Daisy, as he knows they like fizzy sweets, and Rose, infuriated tells him a girl likes flowers, not sweets, and storms into the back.

Danny then leaves the shop, and Katy snaps at Rose, telling her she can’t act like that to customers, especially as she is struggling to break even with the bills and will have to move back to Manchester with her dad. In the Vine, Carla looks at old photos of her and Dom, as she moves to the window, seeing Shark outside. He winks at her, and Carla hurriedly rushes to the bathroom, being sick in the sink, before furiously scrubbing her hands until they bleed.

At the Whiting house, Janine has set out the house in candlelight and rose petals are everywhere, before Chris stumbles in, drunk. He then says goodnight and stumbles upstairs, leaving Janine to blow the candles out, frustrated. The episode ends with Rose storming inside the flat, discovering Danny and Daisy in the middle of having sex on the sofa.

OPENING TITLES -
Pans to the Way, before zooming up to the upstairs of The Vine Inn. Carla, Dom and Sandy all stand there smiling. The camera then goes out of the way, through the block of flats, revealing Rose, Daisy, Danny, Katy and Shark. Finally, the camera cuts to the Digital Way House, revealing Barbara, Jamie, Chris and Janine all standing there. A title card then comes up, revealing 'Digital Way', before a hammer smashes through it and then we are given a shot of the whole cast briefly, before the screen cuts to black and the episode begins.

Preview for Wednesday 23rd October

Carla has a revelation for Shark, which threatens to tear his world apart, completely. Danny confides in Rose about his past, causing Daisy and Kate to begin searching elsewhere to make Danny jealous.

Haha. Thank you. I'm going do a story line where you all get to see what each girl is like with Danny, and then you can choose with a poll who you'd like to see him with. The plot really heats up around Christmas, in more than one way

Future Story Line Teasers

- Carla's Baby Paternity story line will reach a dramatic conclusion on Christmas Day with disastrous results for one resident.

- Janine begins doubting her future with Chris, resulting in Barbara getting involved.

- When The Fisher family return to the way after a three month absence, Freya finds herself in a dangerous situation when going on a trip with boyfriend Jamie and friends Danny, Katy, Rose and Daisy.

- Danny, Katy, Rose and Daisy love square is definitely going to get interesting as time goes on.

- Expect a small stunt as we get closer to Bonfire Night in Digital Way, endangering the lives of a handful of residents. (Although I can confirm that no one dies in the stunt)
