So we currently have a 5/4 split in favour of Ballroom. I suspect Mark is doing a Ballroom which would make it a 6/4 split (unless he has the Rumba, good god).

I think marks doing a ballroom.

Natalie will be doing a party Latin I think cos she's not done one since week 1.

Same for Sophie, because Brendan will want to get more Latin out of the way - chacha I think because for the past few years everyone's done it really early.

Looks like Sophie does have the cha-cha: https://twitter.com/SophieEB/status/392681819151544320

This is the easiest of Latin dances imo; Sophie should be fine. I predict a low 30 for this one.

So just Mark and Natalie to go now are either of them on ITT tonight? (I don't think they are but I could be wrong)

Rachel/Pasha and Ben/Kristina were on ITT today. Mark/Iveta and Deborah/Robin are going to be on ITT tomorrow.

Looking like a really difficult result to call this week, as most of the celebs have dances they should do well in (the obvious exception is Dave, and it's really a question of how long his public support will hold out for). With Rachel on a bottom two bounce we should have two new people in the dance-off.

I think Dave is going this week. Or maybe Fiona.

Tough to tell how Fiona will do with the quickstep, or if the public will forgive a second week running at the bottom if she doesn't pull it off. VW should suit Deborah and I think Mark might be on ballroom again too, so plus Dave and Rachel that's everybody currently in the danger zone of yet to break the 30+ points barrier accounted for...

I'm thinking Fiona for the bottom two this week. I hope she does well with her Quickstep but I can see her going wrong and getting dragged about by Anton.

It's going to be another tough week for Rachel if she's dancing the Paso (could there be a dance that suits her personality less?). I can already hear the judges pulling her apart and telling her she lacks attack but I don't see her being in the bottom two again this week. I genuinely think it was complacency rather than genuine unpopularity that put her there last week.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Fiona in the bottom 2 this week, especially if she gets pissy with the judges again.

Fiona sounds like a surefire bet for the DO, and I'll plump for Deborah as the most likely candidate to join her. VW, with the best will in the world, is rarely super-entertaining. She doesn't have enough personality to get by on that alone, and how she'll inject the enthusiasm that's pulled her along so far will be tricky. The only other potential low scorer is Mark (sounds like he's got a romantic number of some description) but he should be able to act his way out of trouble with the public.

But I think the VW is easy enough to score well on. Deborah has been pretty good on the ballroom so far, so I think she'll probably have Dave, Mark, Rachel, Fiona, maybe Ben and maybe even Ashley below her on the leaderboard.

I'm very excited about the two salsas for very different reasons. Dave to see how bad it can get! Patrick to see a guy really shake his stuff!

Also curious about Sophie's cha cha cha. I reckon it could be pretty good.

I think Abbey will excel at the foxtrot and the dance will suit her a treat.

I think Dave's still got enough support to last this week. He's been rock bottom of the leaderboard and safe from the bottom two every time. I think a sweet ballroom dance or two will see him through to week 6 or 7.

I honestly dont think that Dave will be bottom 2 for a while - its very clearly (to me) that he has the public support and voters

I worry for Rachel, I dont think the paso will suit her at all (I am willing to be proved wrong)

Not sure Fiona will be bottom 2 just because she has a ballroom number - if she had a latin then yes, she probably would have been!

I think Rachel will not get picked apart (even if her dance deserves it) because the judges will have another agenda this week.

Have a feeling Dave's salsa will be terrible (thus generating pretty horrible comments the judges) and thus will guarantee his place for another week.

This week will be difficult as the two potential bottom 2ers in my mind (Fiona and Deborah) both have ballroom. This might give rise to another shock bottom 2 place.

I have a feeling that the overscoring of Mark last week might have been a judges attempt to get Dave in the bottom 2.

The last couple of years the celebs have left in roughly the right order. So far this has happened this year. Now it is a bit more interesting a Rachel should get a bottom 2 bounce (and will probably be overscored whatever her dance is like) and the current bottom people Dave and Fiona seem to have a fair amount of public support.

The middle of the scoreboard could be a very dangerous place to be this week, (specially if there several joint scores). Its going to probably depend on whether Len and Bruno can score using more than 2 or 3 paddles.

VW is deceptive I don't think Deborah has the stamina for the dance and can see her being low middle of the board a dangerous place to be

Do we know what Mark and Iveta are dancing this weekend?

Yes .. but as has been proven in the past (particularly Holly and Susanna), you can get away with a lot of faff and not much spinney stuff.

If Robin can choreograph quite a lot of appropriate faffing, they might get away with it.
