I think it says a lot when a woman gets involved with an attached man, who has a kid. I personally think it is low to get intimate with someone who is not only married, but has a kid too. This is just my opinion.

No, I wouldn't get involved with someone who is attached with a kid and then talk to the media I never expected it from Matthew, but since some posters on here have made it clear he was with someone when he got together with Charley, then he would probably cheat again. However, I am surprised someone with a kid would still cheat.

This story is in the public now, so people will talk about it. It is human nature. People are entitled to have opinions if something is made public.

Yes but what is also human nature, is relationships and that sometimes involves splits and cheating and other unpleasant things. There can be all sorts of reasons it happens. It doesn't instantly make them terrible people. If I knew them from adam I might pass comment and make judgements, if they were my friends or family (and even then you never know the intricacies of their relationship!), but I don't and neither does anyone in this thread I assume.

I agree on paper cheating is bad. Maybe he is a prize a-hole. Maybe SHE is! We don't know. It's obviously not good but I think people can get a bit over the top with their comments against celebrities when this happens.

He sounds like a charmer, then. What really annoys me in these cheating stories is, that the cheaters not only cowardly cheat, but blab about their partner to the person they are cheating with. But then again, why would they respect their SO at all, they are out there cheating on them after all.

I like Charley, she seems like a nice woman, and gets lot of flack for smiling enough according to some people, so I kind of have a soft spot for her.

Charley is very close to a number of people in the show and Mat has his friends as well. ED is a happy ship and great place to work. Nobody will want the possibliity of on set tensions changing any of that.

Well good for charley for dumping him. Too many women take back their cheating partners and predictably blame the other woman instead of the cheating bastard

I don't think David and Debbie have ever shared scenes, or socialized that much. They are in different groups on ED, and seemingly the actors and characters don't need to film at the same times at all.

It doesn't matter that they don't share scenes. A good number of scenes with a good number of actors will be shot each day. There will be many times when they're in the studios at the same time. This unfortunate situation cannot do anthing but add tension around the place.

Well, they are raising a child together off screen, so I doubt there is so much tension they can't work on the same show, they already have to interact because of their child.

She wasn't thinking about his previous partner when she was the 'other woman' before. They both knew what they were doing, she knew what he was like before they got together. She's a pretty girl im sure she'll move on. None of them deserve any sympathy if you ask me

I know they have a child and that part is different but the fact she was 18 makes no difference, she was an adult, 16 maybe... He is totally in the wrong for having an affair, we don't know the whole story, I just hope for their son's sake they can still get on for him.

He was and is in the wrong in both cases, as he was the one in serious relationships, yet cheated. It seems suspect, that somehow in both cases the females who were seemingly single are being painted as in the wrong. He is a serial cheater and a douche, and alone responsible for his cheating.
