I agree, there is something not likable about him. Leona is classy not boring, I find James boring plus I can barely understand when he talks

It's funny, he's actually from the same town as me and even I can barely understand him (although, I've been told I'm quite posh for these parts aha). If I had won that show I'd be nothing but grateful and be really supportive of others in the industry, especially those trying to make it on the show. I wish him luck with his album and single, but I don't think there's any need for his attitude at all... he seems like he WANTS to make enemies. :/

It's weird that they're not pushing his single though, I wonder when Lee will be performing? Do you think she'll do it the single week (24th if going by what we've said) or earlier if she's meant to be starting promo the end of this month?

I said a couple months ago I'd love Leona and Kelly to duet on their albums, as it would be a way to cross promote, but obviously that's not happened, so it would be incredible if they performed together on Kelly's show.


Maybe he likes both, and is being unbiased with his opinion. It is a great song and it will be hard for Leona to top that, most new Christmas songs just don't seem to work for some reason, Kelly's does.

I agree. Whilst he hasn't done a Matt Cardle (trashing the show), I get an air of "I'm better than this" when it comes to his thoughts on The X-Factor. Along with he's "edgier" when infact I find him the opposite. I think the plan is to push sales towards the album, the single has really healthy airplay and probably thought it would do ok without a performance.

As for Leona, I think they'll go for a performance on the 24th. No idea why she's scheduled to do anything at the end of October, unless it's performances in Europe or the States. We'll have to wait and see.

I think she might be pre-recording performances. Alan Carr/Graham Norton/Jonathon Ross are all pre-recorded I believe.

That's true I didn't think of that! I know Rihanna's interview on Alan Carr was filmed about 2 weeks before airing, so this is the most likely option.

I'd love to see an interview with Leona on Chatty Man, that'd be hilarious. I remember her being in a brief interview with him for Children In Need or something like that - but it seemed rushed.

Me too! I'm really excited to see what they come up with for the cover, the only thing about Kelly's cover I don't like is that the photo isn't "Christmassy" enough for me, although she looks BEAUTIFUL in it... I really like her new logo though, it's very festive. The back of the CD is cute too, with her blowing snow out of her hand <3 I'm so excited for both these albums!

I'm actually really freaking out because I have 4 of my favourite ladies releasing Xmas music this year (5 if you include Emeli), so we have Mary J Blige, Kelly, Leona and Ariana Grande. It's like Christmas heaven for me!

That is a really good point actually, a lot of Christmas specials tend to be filmed weeks in advance, because its when certain stars are available.

I am trying to work out roughly when we will see the video, so I worked out how long it took from the first day of filming for Trouble and Lovebird until the actual premier, quite shocking actually, I never realised it was such a wait.

Trouble - Started shooting on 22nd August and it eventually premiered on the 14th September, so it was 24 days later.

Lovebird - Started shooting on 19th November and it eventually premiered on the 19th December, so it was 31 days later.

Hoping for a much quicker turn around for this video.
