On the Demise of the Brannings though, I am hopeful that they will be toned down. I don't hate them as a family, I just would like others to have more screen time and storylines.”

Carol's a Branning again now not a Jackson, she's not married anymore

To me i see her as both depending on who shes opposite. If its a scene with max, shes a branning with bi and her brood shes a jackson. I hate that bianca married ricky before sid left though cuz I really dont see bianca's lot as butchers. They'll always be jacksons to me

How do you know that when not one of them have arrived?

I think Carol, Max and Dot should be the only Brannings left on the square provided that Lauren and Abby plan on getting married and ditching the name then I can look at them in a different light

That's not how it works a woman doesn't automatically revert back to her maiden name when she divorces. Carol is still Mrs Jackson despite her divorce from Alan, and she will remain to be unless she legally changes her name or re-marries. She's still credited as Carol Jackson and there has been nothing said onscreen about her changing her name either. I don't see why she would change her name to be honest Jackson is the surname she has used for the majority of her life, its HER family name, the name her children share etc.

If you swap Max for Jack and added Abi and Lauren I'd agree

In your eyes maybe but I thought she was good and so did others.

Maggie O'Neil is a great actress and her final Mitchell rant was incredible but I think Suzy was miscast. Mainly because like with Michelle Collins in Corrie, you could tell the accent was fake so it distracted too much this is without the alledged behind the scenes issues.

I think had a different actress got the role then the character might have still been around.

I had to watch her Xmas day rant again. It was pure class!!
