Are you still on Yahoo or on the new mail system?

Email and password for me, nothing's really changed logging in apart from the page where you log in to.

I have now been forced to use the new system. Log in here, log in there...
It is useless. ATM I can still read emails via my phone via the yahoo app but that is going to cease soon. Also, BT are not going to provide an app to replace it. Which means going through the same hoops on the phone to read mails. Absolute CR*P!

lost favourites
found them.
On the new Yahoo home page there is "more yahoo sites" Products and services > various options > one being My Yahoo - that produced my original site. Whether that will be removed will have to wait and see. |

Lost favourites
Disappeared after one day-hitting My Yahoo now directs me to log on to My Bt. Unable to find the route to favourites that was available yesterday. |

I can't work out what the dickens they are up to. The e-mail (for me anyway) is still hosted by Yahoo.
Here is a login page that seems to work: https://login.yahoo.com/config/mail?.partner=bt It avoids the BT homepage and actually allows you to stay logged in, unlike the BT login which has no such facility. |

This new system is crap. When I want to see my E-Mails Ive got to put in my details then it goes to the bt page then Ive got to put in my E-Mail address then the password before I see anything.Ive to do this twice.I wish they had left it alone as this new Btyahoo log is something else.Im changing my E-Mails to another site. Horrendous.

http://bookmarks.yahoo.com still allows me to see my bookmarks/favourites. There's an option to export them for use from a web browser too.

And when you finally have logged in twice, and try the speedtest, that's even crapper. Tells me the download speed is 57Mbps when I can see from netmeter and Windows Task Manager that it's 71 Mbps.
They (still) can't even get their speedtest software to work properly in the middle of the night! |

Anyone who has been transferred already to BT's own email from BT Yahoo have a view on the BT mail spam filter? Yahoo seems to me to be stopping almost all the spam these days, and that includes the lethal ones? I am still going through to bt yahoo on the email address I use (which isn't my primary address) and wondered if BT mail is going to be as reliable??

Can no longer create a shortcut just to e-mail I have to go through their main site first and log in every time.. absolute shambles.
If this remains like this in New Year I will just go back to using my Gmail account again |

Seems to be a mess developing. its asking for logins daily, and its linking to a BTmail login page, or a yahoo login page seemingly randomly. The actual emails are still going to a btyahoo address with a BT yahoo logo- whether I login via BTmail, or use the bt yahoo favourite link for the email page, or log in via yahoo. Looks like a partial, slow moving change in progress?
And there's still the doubt whether the original BT email address I am using, which they have now linked to the dud unused, superflous, broadband address they gave me, is going to transfer with the dud unused address.... |

Just enable pop or IMAP in the BT email settings and use a client like Thunderbird to read your email.
